I needed to replace a computer that started messing up after a windows update, and I just wanted to buy an affordable computer. However, this computer came with more than I even anticipated. I do not know much about computers so I asked my brother who is a computer whiz what he thought. He was impressed with my buy. And I was impressed when I found out that a game that would not play on my old computer because it did not have the technology for it can be played on this one. The sound could be louder on this computer but I downloaded a free app which would help increase the sound quality, and it boosted it nicely! I am impressed with how light the computer is and the fact that it stays cool while sitting on my lap. I’m bought this computer because my kid was participating a summer school math class to get into an advanced mathematics program (He was selected, btw.) :-) The class was virtual, so we need a mic, speakers, a camera, and something that would operate smoothly without interruption. This computer was fantastic! He and the other kids have also been playing steam games on it as well, and it’s kept up with that, too. I hope to buy another one by the end of summer so both my kids will have one for schoolwork. Oh, and it’s solid, structurally. I’d recommend it for sure. ... show more

I have been very happy with this laptop and actually purchased a second one for my son. The mouse pad is a little sensitive and gives me a bit of trouble when I am typing but I have had that issue with every laptop i have used. The only suggestion for improvement is to have a sliding cover for the camera when it's not in use. To ensure consumer safety from predators this should be standard. ... show more

This laptop is large and sleek. Processes fast. And for the most part, it does exactly what it claims. I got it to use as a computer to work from home so it had to meet a certain specifications as demanded by most jobs id be applying for, and it does. My only complaint would be the battery life and it doesnt have some features i wanted but hopefully those are easily remedied…i hope lol ... show more

    • Excellent value computer
This is a medium lever fairly robust computer that is handling my demands just fine so far. I had been using a 2 year old laptop that was beginning to have some issues. I bought this laptop to use as a recording platform with my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface, Focusrite VRM Box and Harrison MixBus8. The additional RAM makes operations smooth and fast even when running a lot of tracks in MixBus. The native audio output is average but I am using the Scarlett for my audio I/O. Setup was fast and I had no problems loading the content needed as well as using the external drive for storage. The screen is adequate for displaying MixBus which can be challenging as there is a lot of detail needed to access all the parameters. So far I have recorded 2 songs start to finish staying strictly in the box with a smooth workflow and no issues. I do not use this computer as my daily driver but given my experience so far it is more than adequate for a business, light gaming or for scientific needs. ... show more

I like the size and weight; it’s not too heavy or too big. Price was right too. It comes with current Microsoft software that I know and understand. The company offers service and troubleshooting. Good computer. Fast to get to main screen. Works well. We ordered one some time ago and received one that had a malfunctioning screen. I communicated online with the computer maker/manufacturer/seller and they gave us a label to send that one back and they sent us a new one that works well.
