I have had 2 of these yes 1 did smoke but sundown was prompt and very helpful way better then orv or stetsom or sound stream they paid shipping g both way and replaced with a 100% new not a repair . I have to say it was my fault I thought I only blew up a amp [stetsom 5k vulcan f$%@ing great amp] so I bought the sundown 8k hooked it up was riding home from the shop[work] where I installed it quick and snap crackle pop it caught fire 🔥 and wouldn't go out for 30 mins sundown was fast reliable and helpful with a replacement at there cost I didn't pay anything. If your not getting a response must be the wrong email address. 1 thing you have to understand if your new to car audio or old school and used to half bridge these amps can not be shorted always always disconnect the power while working on the system u will fry any brand full bridge by just messing with rcas while powered I learned this cheap huge power amps are 100% worth it you just must take precautions while doing any work on the system BTW sundown has replace both my full bridge amps no questions they cost more but that's what you pay for really great customer service I would mess with Jacob [sundown] way way way before robot under ground used back shed rebuilt/rebranded subs built from. Scraps can't even get the guy onthephone to discuss taking 1200 from you and never know what your getting not with sundown they care for there customers ... show more

I love this amp I have the 8k version on three deaf bonce sa-302 and man does this put some power out…great amp for the price!!!! Just wire it right and you won’t have any issues…amp doesn’t go below 1ohm so take that into consideration!!!

just like a lot of reviews on other models it went up in smoke in 3 days. it's been 2 months with no word back from sundown on sending it in for the warranty
