Excellent quality. Can’t believe how small this amp is yet how powerful. The sound quality is superb. I connected this same speaker with a different amp and it didn’t sound half as good. Just make sure you have a good signal coming in. I had bad signal from my rear speakers. In my convertible the rear speakers are tweeters and the factory amp takes all the bass away. As soon as I hooked up the sound from my door speaker it was night and day difference. Wow. What a difference. Great sound. Deep quality sound on every music I play. Easy to install and tweak. I installed this in my Jeep along with a Kicker Solobaric 12" L7 sub. It is a dual voice coil wired at 2ohms and this amp moves that sub with no issues. It has a small footprint so fabricating an amp rack or finding a good mounting place isn't hard to do. The only fault this amp has, and just my own opinion, is the remote bass input is a headphone style jack. I prefer the RJ 11 style but again that's just my preference. The styling is very sleek with a great looking bold Kicker logo on the face of the amp. The mounting positions are modular, so you can lay it flat or stand it up on its side. For the price it’s really good amp. This amp is extremely powerful and gives out good quality sound. Really recommend if you have big subs this guys is your choice. It’s small and can fit anywhere. Does not come with remote :( that’s only downfall.

This amp is a little premium priced compared to some of the other mono sub amps, but when you open the box, you immediately know it's quality. Pretty nice heft, solid connections, easy hookup. Because it has both high and low inputs, I didnt need a line level converter. Instead I just stripped down a RCA cable and wired it up to the rear speakers. Pretty easy to use, highly recommend the remote sub control(wish it came as part of the package). ... show more

I got this amp pushing two 10” kicker rt downfires and let me tell you they bump HARD!!! I definitely recommend this product. Great value for the money with no distortion.

This amp is INSANE. I was thinking of maybe going with the Kicker CX1200.1, but I'm glad that I didn't. The CX800.1 bumps two 12" Kicker CompR in a downfiring box so dang hard that my seats shake like a massage chair. Very happy with this combo!!!
