These things have been a life-saver for me as a fly angler. The most common set up I fish with is a 5x tapered leader and 4/5/6x tippet, so these are a perfect fit. I've had other leaders that seemed brittle or that broke easily, but these are very strong and I haven't had any break. They also seem to hold knots really well. Since I switched to these, if/when I break off, it is almost always breaking close to the fly.
