Read the reviews, and be sure to watch videos of how to use this powder, because it's a little tricky. Upside is that this really works from the roots on up. Great for special occasions. Downsides: it won't last all night, and it'll make your hair feel really tacky and tangly. It really does work to make care of more volume. It feels a little strange when you first put it in your hands and rub together, but if you apply it to the root area all around your head, you will definitely see increased volume. This is my second bottle.

I have the Sexy Hair shampoo and love it so when my hairdresser suggest I try this to give my fine hair extra volume I thought it was a great idea. Well, it DID boost my hair, but, it was also very sticky and very hard to comb once I sprinkled it in. So, it gave volume but 0 control. Anytime I touched my hair it felt like I had flour and water mixed in it. And trying to shampoo it out was also difficult. It takes only a very light dusting on my fingers to run it up and under my hair near the roots to have volume all day. It doesn’t feel greasy or sticky because I need very little. When I feel it needs a boost I just run my fingers through it and rub the roots up a bit and I’m all good. I’ve been looking for something like this forever and my hairdresser had told me about the Redken powder but they don’t make it anymore. So I tried this and I’m not the least bit sorry. It does make my very fine hair somewhat static but I spray some static guard on my finger and let it dry then run that though and it works. Highly recommend. ... show more
