How to Use: Step 1: Install 4 AA batteries(not including the required 4 AA batteries) Step 2: Hold the machine with your right hand, with your thumb resting naturally on top and supporting your other fingers underneath. Step 3: Thread the thread (please refer to the picture). Step 4: Raise the platen, then place the prepared fabric under the platen, and gently lower the platen to press the fabric. Step 5: Hold the fabric in your left hand, and the fabric feeding mechanism will automatically send out the sewn fabric. Move the machine to the right and move the fabric to the left accordingly. Step 6: The machine automatically lets the fabric in and adjusts the stitch tension. Warm Tips: ☆Needle is sharp, use care when working with needle to avoid injury. Keep away from children. This petite sewing machine is a feather-light wonder, perfect for those on the move. It arrived with everything exactly as pictured and described – check out the detailed photos for a closer look. Now, let's talk accessories. The included scissors aren't exactly top-notch, but hey, they do the job considering their size. The thread cutter on the machine's front works, though I'd recommend sticking to scissors for precision trimming. The machine comes pre-threaded with an installed bobbin, and yes, there's a small hiccup with the thread being a bit stubborn at times. The machine boasts an auto on/off switch, a feature that's not exactly my cup of tea. I prefer the pedal for control. There's also a Hi/Low switch, though the low setting didn't quite impress. A heads up – the power cord is on the shorter side, so consider having an extension cord handy. Unfortunately, there's no on/off switch for battery power, a minor inconvenience. To prevent any unintentional sliding, I'd recommend placing the machine and pedal on a non-slip surface or adding non-slip pads. Both components are lightweight and can be a bit finicky in terms of staying put. While I'm not entirely convinced this machine is ideal for beginners, it does have its merits. Speaking as someone with some experience on a regular-sized machine, I see this little buddy shining in small tasks and travel scenarios. This is a cheap and easy way to sew without getting a full on sewing machine. There is defnitely a learning curve and it's not the easiest thing to pickup and use, but you can't really beat the value.

First and foremost I'm not very savvy with sewing by hand or machine. I have clothes that need repaired and just wanted something small to learn with. This little sewing machine works wonders for me! It is super easy to setup and use, all you have to do is thread the string. There is a really nice variety of colors and a nice set of tools to get started. The scissors have a nice design being compacts, super sharp, and don't need to put your fingers through. The size is nice because it's super easy to put in a drawer or a small box without lugging around a ton of weight. The instructions include QR codes to watch videos to learn how to use and setup the sewing machine. All it takes is 4 AA batteries to power it and you're pretty much set from there. So, here's the plot twist of the century – I, the eternal patron of professional hemming services, have never even considered sewing in my life. Zero patience, always relied on the experts to do the fabric magic for me. Enter three slightly too-long Shirt/Jackets and a burst of DIY inspiration. I took the plunge and got myself this machine, armed with a whopping 15-minute crash course on YouTube. I mean, why not, right? Surprisingly, it was a breeze, and I only did a tiny test stitch to dip my toes in. Lo and behold, the result? Perfectly hemmed and looking like it was done by a pro.
