Changing wires is very simple. The accompanying exercise cloth is an added benefit. One of my favorite features is that this machine is very light and portable. It comes along with the Pretty and perfect sewing basket starter kit that fits my needs. Love the compact size and all basic needs for a young person starting out!! It is a well thought out sewing basket it has everything you need to get you sewing and the basket is nice has alot of room for storage and very sturdy everything in this kit really is Great quality the thread and needles are the best I've ever used. The needles are not flimsy like the ones I've used in the past this is well worth purchasing and would make a excellent gift to a mom or grandma, daughter really anyone who is picking up sewing.
