This hook and loop tape is perfect! I used it for closing cushion covers as I do not like sewing zippers. I had originally looked at Joann’s and even with a coupon it was going to cost me $100 just for the hook and loop tape. When I found this on Amazon for such a great price, I gave it a try. I will never use a different product again. This stuff is PERFECT. Came very professionally packaged, a few days ahead of the expected delivery date. Super easy to sew through with my standard machine. Is truly industrial strength as advertised. Even with sitting on the cushions and wiggling around, it does not pull apart. The only warning is to be careful what you are wearing when working with long pieces of the hook side. I was wearing a loose knit sweater and the hooks kept clinging to my sweater and snagged it up a bit. But that was my fault for not taking the sweater off the first time it happened. I was looking for sew in hook/loop tape for an upholstery project that needed to stay fastened despite probably being jumped on by children constantly. Industrial strength is not an exaggeration. Just as the glue on a box is stronger than the cardboard, I'm pretty sure this stuff is stronger than the upholstery fabric. I could lift my 50lb child with a 4 inch strip and no slippage. My entry level sewing machine handled it fine though it was a bit of a pain to work with on a large scale for an advanced beginner sewist. ... show more

I bought this Sew on Hook and Loop Style, 2 Inch Non-Adhesive Back Nylon Strips Fabric Fastener to extend a house shoe closure for a relative's diabetic foot who was needing an extra inch or two across the top of shoe to allow for bandages/swelling. I was able to easily sew the hook and loop strips back to back using my home machine and simply place it on the shoe where there was already fastener sewn in by the manufacturer.
