  • Amazed, works great in new Bosch!
Size: 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 2) Scent: Unscented
My 14 year old Kitchenaid dishwasher was top of the line in 2005. It was great but finally died recently and we got a Bosch. Installer said you have to use rinse aid to get dishes clean and dry but I'd never used it in the old one. I was not happy about rinsing my dishes with chemicals, especially since the manual states the new DW uses less water. Though this product is almost twice the price of Finish rinse aid, I figured it was worth a try and I am just blown away by how great it's working. I really didn't believe it would be that good but it exceeded my expectations bigtime! No smell or haze left on the dishes and they look super clean and come out very dry. Pricey but worth it! ... show more

  • Performs as advertised.
Size: 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 9) Scent: Unscented
I love the seventh generation brand because I know I’m getting something clean and non-toxic. I feel confident using this to wash my dishes and it does a wonderful job. My dishes are always sparkling clean and I never have to worry about toxic residue being left behind. I wish this stuff was a little cheaper just because I use it a lot, but it’s worth the cost! ... show more

  • Look at the ingredients!

I just “feel better” using this. Sometimes still spots on glasses, but can deal with that. Yes it is probably a little more expensive than other brands

  • Mixed performance results, but clearer conscious
Size: 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 2) Scent: Unscented
If you're buying this, then you're probably like us in that you likely also use phophate-free or other "healthy" dishwasher detergents and live with occasional food crumbs and hazing dishes as a tradeoff for clearer conscience and healthier body. Over the past 6 months, we've switched to more clear glasswares and noticed more and more spotting. We live in Houston, so we have water that's considered on the harder scale, so we understand we'll have a certain level of it. We used to use JetDry and other rinse aids. I'm not going to lie - they worked awesome in keeping our glasses and polished silverware clean after the drying cycle. But we couldn't stand the smell and the taste that occasionally leached on to our foods. So we went without one for several months until I tried Seventh Generation Rinse Aid over the past week. With about 14 cycles to base this review on, all our dishes after drying come out a little hazier with a powder-y feel. I might even say that there seem to be more food scraps still adhering to our dishes. We did not drastically change our diets or detergent - just the rinse aid. Also, our stainless-steel tub reflects the same haziness and water spots that we didn't see or have before. I'm willing to give this product the benefit of the doubt, based on the high ratings from other users, so I'm wondering if: (a) the rinse aid helped loosen old grimes from the dishwasher, and that is getting mixed with clean dishes during rinse, or (b) the rinse aid is reacting with the natural detergent and causing this byproduct. As such, this is the first product I've purchased from Amazon where I'm giving a "3" and not returning yet. ... show more
