I originally bought the 14x14 covers for my 16x16 inserts, based on general interior design tips I heard about, thinking it would be a super fluff pillow. But the covers were way too small for this. Then I saw the product description on the product page that stated 14x14 inserts were more appropriate, I agree this is true. I returned the covers for the 16x16 size for my 16x16 inserts (from a popular generic brand on Amazon) and it fits very well. It's not super fluff like I had wanted but this could be more of an insert brand choice. It's soft enough to lean against but stiff enough to hold its shape because the cover has a semi-rough material, which I like. I got the grey color and it's beautiful and neutral enough to go with a lot of things. If this company offered a pure/bright white version of the same item, I'd also buy it. ... show more

I’m surprised by the quality of these pillow covers. The blue matches the picture perfectly and the fabric is a lot softer than I thought it’d be. Hopefully they hold up well. UPDATE: it’s been a few months and these pillow covers have taken a beating, but you honestly wouldn’t know it. They still look brand new and I’m not exaggerating. I’m shocked by how durable they are. And they spot clean really well too, for those times when you aren’t able to throw them in the wash but need to get a spill out. Someone spilled a fair amount of root beer on one and I dabbed at it with a wet/damp cloth and the next day there wasn’t any trace of a spill. It also didn’t leak through to the pillow insert! These were perfect for a gift I made my Grandfather for Fathers day. I was so thrilled that I was able to customize this pillowcase it does work with HTV. The zipper was sewn perfectly the material is good quality.
