The only reason I didn’t return and exchange it was because my husband was trying to surprise me, so he put them together for me while I was at work. He had no idea about the color I ordered, so he put all four together not knowing they were the wrong color. He sent me the picture of the chairs after he finished, and that’s when I knew. I won’t dare ask him to take them apart so I can exchange, as he did state they were pretty tedious, putting together. I’ll make it work by ordering the Adirondack seat cushions in a color that will blend with my rug and outside decor. Finished Product: - This chair is sturdy but wobbly because of the folding function. - Folding function is nice but when opening the chair back up, it is a bit challenging to align the “plugs” - Standard size - Comfortable Unique Features: - Cup holders - Cup holders fold in - Chair folds up Assembly: - Took about 45 minutes to assemble with 2 people. - Comes with all the tools you need, however, you need to be careful with the Allen wrench because it is soft and easily strips. - Pay attention to the alignment of the arm rests. The SERWALL Adirondack chair is good looking, comfortable and it is built to last. I found assembly difficult for one person because the parts are heavy and bulky. The included Allen wrench did not fit the screws well. The chair weighs about 45 pounds when fully assembled which is more than I want to lift without help. Even when folded, the chair is cumbersome and hard to handle for one person. The metal hardware looks to be stainless steel so I think it would be OK to leave the chair in the weather for many years. The general care and maintenance instructions say, “do no use bleach.” The clean and sanitize tips say to use bleach for extra cleaning power. This is my second chair of this style, the first was a Lue Bona brand. I like that the Serwall one has a diagonal board at the end of the chair so your legs aren't on such a flat edge. So given the choice I'd recommend this design. This chair has removable pins in the arm and the back can fold down. I don't expect to use that feature much if ever. Maybe if a big storm comes through. The fold out cup holder is a nice idea, will work for most cans and plastic bottles but if you're using a big refillable bottle or a mug with a handle, it will be too small. Likewise I'm not sure what the slot in the phone holder side is supposed to do. That could use some instructions. The back has 4 wide boards, feels as sturdy as our other one that has 5. The material is that heavy plastic that shouldn't fade, so I expect the chair to last a while. ... show more

Love this foldable Adirondack chair and got this as a gift for mom for her outdoor front porch and she’s so happy! Such a nice deep rich blue color that does really look like wood & she really likes that it has 2 cup holders, one for a wine glass! Not that she really needs to ever fold it up, but it’s a plus that it does fold up to more easily get it out of the way if need be. This material will last a long time and the construction is quality. It’s just a very attractive classy looking chair & pretty easy to put together too. High value for the price. ... show more

I like to put things together myself, but since I just had foot surgery, my husband put it together for me and he had no problems doing so. I will need to keep my foot propped up for the next 8-10 weeks and can't be around my horses during that time so we have this chair sitting right next to our horse pasture so I can still visit with the horses. Because the chair is so low, I can prop my foot up on a hay bale and spend time with my horses while sitting in the chair. The chair arrived just when I needed it most.
