Good product for price paid. Used for shoveling snow so far. Comfortable and good value.

  • Appear to be good boots for the money...
Size: 8
So far, so good. Saw these inexpensive, USA-made boots locally - the price was good & I needed a pair of utility boots rather badly. Went on Amazon and promptly found them for a few bucks less. Figured I'd try the safety toe version for general working chores (property maintenance, wood piling, etc.) and so far, they are working just fine. I've had these Servus size 8's for about a month now, and have used them for work, hunting, as well as daily wear. They get pretty good traction, and the little knub on the back eases removal at the end of the day. The cloth-ish liner provides a modicum of comfort that truly-cheap rubber boots don't provide, and when left upside down out of doors, these boots dry full within one or two days; not bad considering I have no boot dryer to fall back on. Overall comfort is surprisingly good, though the product ad's 'sneaker-like comfort' statement is an exaggeration. Like most rubber boots, they have no internal cushioning, and this combined with the safety toe can make stepping or walking at odd angles uncomfortable - these are not the most comfortable for clamoring around a wood pile or hunting/walking on steep, uneven terrain. They are a bit heavy (no surprise), but I can walk and stand in them all day with adequate comfort. These boots are a good, useful height, but the wide open tops invite all kinds of debris. Obviously, tucking your pant legs around them alleviates this problem, but I find it rather hard to do with standard-fit jeans - might be easier with dedicated work pants. An adjustable top strap would settle my complaints, but would of course, add to the the cost...so I really can't complain too much. The rubber fittings on my boots aren't very well done, and don't look great (for most people, it's a moot point - they're cheap rubber boots after all) but so far have not caused any issues. That said, I have noticed some seam separation between the sole and tread on the sides of at least one boot recently; haven't had any leaks when used in water yet, but I'll keep an eye out and report back if any troublesome holes or cracks develop. Overall, I think these are a great, all-purpose, utility boot for the price. They have held up to steady use and remain comfortable and functional - so far anyways. They are American-made at an import price point, so that's an additional plus. I was sufficiently impressed by these boots, that I went out and bought another set of them without the safety toe locally (Amazon didn't have them in size 8), even though they cost more than they would have from Amazon...I'll see if these are more comfortable for daily wearing. These Servus Economy boots offer no frills & are admittedly imperfect, but for a solid, inexpensive rubber boot, I don't see how you can go wrong....and they're cheap enough that trying out a pair won't break the bank. ... show more

  • Great for work around the yard
Size: 10
These are my outdoor/yard boots and they are great. They are low cost but protect with steel toe and I have never had any mud, water, or other material in my boots. I will even mow with them, haul rocks or dirt, water plants and trees, dig many holes, or walk out to feed squirrels or move trash bins to curve. They fit nice and slide on and off with ease. ... show more

  • Made in the USA
Size: 10
I was very happy to see that when I got these boots delivered they were stamped with Made in the USA. With a name like Servus and the low pricing I was expecting an import but was pleasantly surprised with the domestic manufacturing. One thing I can say is don't listen to others on the sizing. I wear a 9.5 shoe and based off of reviews I went with a 10 because these supposedly run small. My feet swim in these size 10 shoes. I am certain that based on this experience a size 9 would fit just right. I don't plan to use these to walk long distances, so I'll deal with the larger size, but if you have to do a lot of walking in these I would avoid going the next size up. Maybe with an insert and some insulated socks they would be better, but as-is they're just too big on my feet. As far as the boot itself, I'm very impressed with the quality. It seems like good quality rubber with good bonding between the different panels that make up these boots. The sole isn't quite as comfortable as some LaCrosse knee boots I used to wear hunting, but those were 3 times as expensive and still weren't what I'd call very comfortable. I just spent about an hour with my feet under water up to my calves with these boots on and my socks were bone dry when I walked back up to the house and took them off. I couldn't be happier with that part. I'll report back on durability later on, but I won't be putting a lot of miles on them, so it'll have to be about how long the rubber lasts before they fall apart. Like tires and o-rings, the quality of the rubber will determine how long it will take to dry rot and delaminate. Just based off of what I'm seeing now though (no stinky recycled rubber smell like from overseas brands here), I think it'll do fine. For the price, if I get 3 years light use out of these without leakage I'll be happy. ... show more

  • Servus 14" waterproof work boots. Made in the USA! 🇺🇲
Size: 11
I haven't yet put these these on and used them, I will try them out tomorrow when I go for a walk through my creek. But just slipping them on right now, they seem like they will be excellent fitment and very comfortable for a walk through 12 inch deep water. I usually go through a pair of water boots in about a year. They get worked pretty hard, so time will tell just how well these hold up. But these look and feel very well made and I am pleasantly surprised to see that these are made in the USA!🇺🇲 as well, beings there sadly isn't much made here anymore these days. But these types of boots always start to form a split in the same place, at the spot above the top of your foot along the sides where the most amount of flexing occurs...everytime. But that's impossible to prevent. Sure, you can put on some kind of rubber sealer to add some protective durability. But the breaking point is usually in the same place. I can't wait to try these out tomorrow! ... show more
