This is my favorite vest I've found for my toy breed service dog. Hard to find smaller sizes sometimes. I've had to order XXXS (when he was younger and training) to XXS. He's had the one that fits him now for about 2 years with no issues, durable. This vest doesn't cover his whole body and that helps with having a good portion of him available for tactile stimulation. Had to hunt for very small tactical pouches for him to carry my medications. (found some here on Amazon) I got the teal blue color both times. I might have considered a traditional red color to alert he's working, or even neon (if they offered it) so people could see him better (since he's small). I needed to buy a neon leash cover that stated "service dog - do not pet" and that has helped stopped people from wanting to pet him. The handle was also something I was looking for so I could lift him up in a hurry if needed.

Bought this for my rescued Pitbull. He's 60 lbs and a big baby really unless there's a squirrel or cat then I need a good strong vest with the grab handle and D ring. He's in the river every day and the old identical vest lasted three years of daily 2 hr walks. Great for big dogs that pull hard.

So while I say it was completely useless, it certainly was for us. We thought we had medium sized dogs. Apparently we have small and extra small dogs š. I hope this helps anybody that's reading this review. Measure your dog's neck before ordering. This is a fantastic harness. If I ever get another lab the medium would be great. This is for a pretty large dog even though it says medium. We do have two small sizes on the way. The problem with some of these are the shipping times. It takes a very very long time it'll be patient. Once it gets to you you will love it. ā° ā° āā

My SD in training outgrew his old "cheap" one from another brand that looked like this one. This appears well made and sturdy. I like the included ADA information cards. ONLY issues are that the handle should be an inch or two higher off the back of the vest for ease of grabbing and the quick release does not have a lock on it. For a very inexpensive vest, it will work. IMO this works best for those who want to easily ID their SD/SDIT for public access and for training. For long term, regular use, you eventually will need to swap out the free patches for replacements as the letters wear off, or for more durable embroidered ones. I will update if anything changes with regular use.

I have been pretty much home bound for the past few years and just recently gotten to the point where I can start going out and about again. I had a recent trip where I was going to stay with a couple of my kids and would be home alone during the day while they were at work and needed to take my gal with me so I bought this vest for her so the apartment and anyone else that would see me while I would be out in public would know that she was not just a regular pet (housing units have to allow service dogs vs pets same with stores). She has never worn a service vest before because we havenāt had the need for one because of me being home bound, but she took to it really quick! The vest for her has just become another extension of her whenever we go out and she needs to wear it. She enjoys it so much that as soon as I ask her if she wants to go to work and she sees me grab it she gets excited, jumps on my bed, and will sit and wait patiently for me to put her vest on! In fact I may end up having to order a second vest just because our German Shepherd understands what the vest is and she now wants one as well! lol! I ordered her a medium as she was right on the fine line measurement wise between a small and a medium and I felt it was better to be safer than sorry. Itās taken in as small as itāll go and fits her just fine! I love the vest and all the multipurposeās it can serve. I ended up even ordering saddle bags for it so if we decide to go out for an extended period of time for the day, just her and I, she can help carry extra items for me such as my meds and such. The grab bar seems pretty sturdy and well added. I can see if I got a second and larger vest for my GSD being able to use it to help pull myself up when I need the extra hand. I also love that these came with cards as well explaining our rights when it comes to having service animals. Luckily Iāve never ran into any issues yet with anyone asking but I can see where they would most definitely come in handy and helpful in possibly some of those moments if they were ever to arise!!

This vest is well-made, durable, and comfortable for my service dog. The adjustable straps ensure a secure yet comfortable fit, and the reflective patches make my dog more visible in low-light situations. The hook and loop feature makes it easy to switch out patches depending on the setting. The material is sturdy but lightweight, and my dog doesnāt seem bothered by it at all.
