If your dog is large and strong this harness is terrific. One year old golden just under a hundred pounds. Easy to guide and lift having fore and aft. Well made added shoulder room is nice to avoid rubbing on the run.

Have a few different types of harnesses ranging from random harnesses from amazon/overseas sellers, Julius k9, and this. I can say the all metal with the extended length double side buckles has to be one of the most thought out products in the market. Solid construction, all-metal buckles, metal D-rings (front, top front, and top rear), fully adjustable straps with velcro ends to clean up the excess strap slack, great handles (I like that the front is parallel with the body and the rear is perpendicular), molle pouches mountable, and plenty of room for name, funny, or cute patches. It has taken the spot as the long hiking or long walks harness. I still use the Julius K9 harness for daily and short walks since it's a bit quicker to put on and take off, plus the addition of the large reflective front strap is great for night walking. I still wouldn't hesitate to buy this harness again as I think this is currently the best tactical style harness on the market in terms of features and quality. The only thing I think it's missing is the ability to strap down the handles like how the Julius K9 harnesses.

Quality made with good materials. Metal buckles are new to me will have to see how they hold up. Adjusted to fit my 45 pound ACD perfectly and he moves about actively as if it was not on. Comes with ONE very nice “DO NOT PET” Velcro patch. Reduced one star for not including TWO. I’m sure in bulk it would be pennies to include one more. Overall I would buy this again and recommend it to friends.

I have a 75lb American Pit Bull Good/Bad Boi rescue that needs to be secured at all times. This harness is the answer #1- 3 metal buckles, very secure! #2-3 heavy duty metal loops for leashes. I've used all 3 at one time to just 1 because he is always leashed with minimal pronged training collar (fyi Ive had him on a un pronged training collar...not effective in controlling him when excited he is still in training) #3- in the car the 3 point harness is excellent in securing him with the doggie leashes I found dog seat belts become unbuckled. Only one side up around the neck of the harness has a buckle the other side has velcro about 2-1/2 inches wide around the neck and chest, I was worried about that portion staying secured because he is muscular and chesty. It has not failed at all even when the kitty wont move from the walkway. #4- The material the harness is made from very heavy duty material I have the black. It can be stiff my dog wears it during the day but sleeps naked i want him to be comfortable and not chaff. Straps are ajustable to conform to his body i found sometimes finding a well fitted harness is like finding a suit for a bodybuilder this is his third harness. The harness checks all the boxes for a secure strong high quality harness. Lastly, plenty of area for patches my patches are reflective for safety. I would purchase again.

Looks great on my dog :) you will need to vacuum the fur off. LOL My dog is a German Shepard & Anatolian Shepard mix. He is about 28.5 inches tall and only about 80/85 lbs. He is still a puppy. Very easy to put together and adjust as the dog grows. Lots of padding he has no problem being in it for hours. I use it whenever we go out and around lots of people or his favorite store. It very functional with the dual metal loops for leash training. And it super strong, if he gets hyper (he is a puppy) one handle will pull those front legs off the ground. Or grab both and pull him up right to your face and look him in the eye. :) Either one works great. :) And the best part it does not hurt your dog! And you can add anything he can carry with Velcro across his back. :) Very nice feature. One warning :) do not let your dog roll around in fine sand (like beach sand). The all metal clips are great, but not so easy to get open when they are filled with sand! LOL baest-usa
