This mattress pad covers our King size Seally mattress very well. I let it air out for one day, and I didn’t notice any weird smell at all. Our mattress is firm, so this pad adds a wonderful cushion. The pad is NOT hot at all, it’s the perfect temperature. People who are saying it’s hot might need to check their sheet material (microfiber is just a fancy word for plastic). Two things: if your mattress is old and crappy, this will not fix it. It provides no support, just softness. The other thing: it’s not really memory foam (hence only 4 stars). It is not very dense, but very soft. Again, works well for me and my firm mattress, but the description is not really accurate!

I bought the king size 2 inch memory foam. It came packaged nicely in a zippered Serta bag. As all memory foam products are, it was highly compressed and tightly wrapped in plastic and looked way too small. After unwrapping and gently unfolding as much as possible I laid it on the bed to do its thing. Within 2 hours it had completely expanded and come to its full king size. Contrary to what some other reviewers have said I noted absolutely no odor. In fact, I immediately made up the bed and have been sleeping in it ever since. I can’t comment on the cooling effect because I bought it to put inside my older sleep number mattress to bulk it up. It has good firmness with the typical qualities of a memory foam. I’m very happy with it. I feel it’s going to extend the life of my sleep number even further as I’d already replaced the inner foam mattress pad on that. I have back issues and it has improved my sleep quality. It was a very good value for the price and I’m glad I got it. I would purchase it again and highly recommend. I may get one for my guest bed regular mattress.

I did so much research going back and forth on here trying to just pick on i thought would be comfortable. With so many good reviews or mixed reviews on this one and other toppers, it was hard so i just made a quick decision to buy it and figured if i didn’t like it i would just return it. I’m so impressed with this one and would buy it over again when needed! It’s so comfortable and i feel like im getting a warm hug whenever i lay on it. Couldn’t recommend this one enough! Just make sure you buy a mattress cover otherwise it won’t stay in place- it’s Just the foam (and you wanna make sure to protect it from spills)

I wake up sweating every night. I spent a lot of time going through reviews on these toppers that are suppose to cool. Every topper had mixed reviews so I went with this Serta 3” because it seemed to have more people saying it kept their temp regulated. It has sat for 24 hours . It is a full 3” and seems cool to the touch. Tonight will be the first night I sleep on it so I only gave 4 stars as I’m not sure if it will actually keep me cool or not. Hoping it does all it promises to do. Update: first night sleeping on the Serta topper. I found even though the topper was cool to the touch it did not keep me cool during the night. Still woke up sweating. Also it was advertised as medium firmness. This is not a medium firmness to me. Was way too soft. Not so soft that you get buried in it like some memory foam but definitely too soft for me. I still found myself tossing and turning because my back was aching due to the softness. I will give it one more night but I believe I will be returning this. I am changing my score to a 3 star as I do not believe it delivered what it advertised. Again comfort of a topper is a personal choice. If you like soft cushion and not worried about the cooling aspect this would be great for you.

The media could not be loaded. I don’t know about the cooling gel because of the fact that I use fleece sheets like those plush covers that are really fuzzy and furry my sheets are like that. So they’re meant to hold heat. I have a thing about fabrics and them touching my skin and so I’ve always had sheets like this. I can’t tell you that when I bought it I think it was only 80 bucks versus now it’s a lot more expensive but it is so comfortable. I’ve had it for about a year now and I just flipped it for the first time because it was getting a little flat. However, you’re supposed to flip them I did get a full size and it did not ever extend to the full size of my mattress. It’s about 2 inches short long ways and about a half an inch short from the side to side. They half an inch is easy to make it look like it fits because I can make it to where it’s a quarter inch on both sides but I hide the 2 inches that it is short long ways with my pillows so I guess it still works out, but I wish it would’ve been the size I ordered! Everybody said give it a day or two, but it’s been over a year and it’s still hasn’t got to the full size it’s supposed to be however i had a 2 inch one 40 buck memory foam mattress prior to this that got like 4.8 stars and this is 1 million times more comfortable! It did have a little smell to it when it came out of the package but that went away very fast. I should put in here I went through a depressive state from loosing my fiancé where I was constantly in bed for about four months out of the year, the only time I was out of bed was when I was at work so I would say this mattress has held up pretty good ! I have a lot of back problems! I’m 30 now, but when I was 17 years old, they said I had degenerative disc disease which runs in my family and I had three herniated discs from my car accident so I dealt with back pain for about a decade and a half now … this memory foam topper has helped so much!!!!

Quality product, soft feel. The memory foam properties of it could have been better. It was more cushion. There was no odor to it even though it was supposed to be aired out. It's a very comfortable soft bedtopper which definitely helps with the sleep.
