We have purchased many toppers for our bedrooms over the years and place then on high quality air adjustable mattresses (similar to the one you see advertised all the time) not the camping type of mattress. Im talking about $1,000 to $1,700 mattresses Even though this is advertised as a memory foam topper, like most manufacturers there is A LOT less memory in the foam which makes for a lighter product. The good news to us is we always felt like memory foam was a marketing gimmick, people love to squish their hands into the pad and watch it slowly rise. That doesnt happen much anymore and that is a good thing. Memory foam in its purest form is very hot to sleep on and you sink deep into the foam which compresses to the point that there is very little softness under you. Well, dont you buy a mattress pad for some softness? We feel this pad is the perfect combination of "memory foam" mixed with regular foam. Its not to heavy, its much cooler to sleep on and it provides the support under you because it doesnt compress and bounces back more quickly then pure memory foam.     • Looking for a slab of soft foam? This is it.

If you're just looking for a soft slab of foam, with no engineering at all, then this is your product. It's 2 inches of mushy, soft, general foam. I can only speak for myself, but it is difficult to move on, and has only produced more aches pains and back discomfort, because of the extreme soft nature. It also will "stretch" over the sides of the bed, so beware when getting in and out of bed, as the sides have a tendency to "waterfall" over the mattress on which it is installed. Spend the extra money, and do more research - don't depend on the Serta name, which I did. There is nothing special about this product. It's just a soft slab of foam. ... show more

I bought this on Saturday, and it was delivered by Monday - great service. Upon opening I was greeted by the cutest little sheep printed inside the box!! I couldn't believe how a queen topper fit into such a small box, but after unwrapping it came back to full size in less than a minute. The pamphlet inside said to give it 24 to 48 hours to come back to full size and air out, but it was on the bed and in use almost immediately. This Serta Graphite Infused 2-in Memory Foam Mattress Topper is a great mattress topper if you are just looking to make your bed a little softer. It’s a very soft cushion, as memory foam should be but it doesn’t retain the shape when pressed down as you would expect. I also didn’t notice much change in temperature as it doesn’t make my bed any cooler or warmer. I needed a foam on my guest room bed. I sometimes use this bed for peace and quiet. So i decided to get this piece. When i got it, well it was very hard to unroll and was quite out of shape and form. I almost regret the purchase. But i thought just give it time to breath i left it unrolled on the bed for a week. When i came back to it, it nicely came back to the shape it was intended like the pictire. I am actually very surprised at the comfort level that it provides. This far exceeds the expectations i had for the price. I have purchased similar quality in the past for three times the cost. Will get another for the other bed! ... show more

Update: I'm definitely returning it. So far it seems like an absolute waste of money. However, I am going to give it the 24-48 that are required for it's inflation. And if by some miraculous chance it does grow to it's 3", I will come back here and happily change this review. For now though, it's looking like a return is in my near future. And just so we're clear, the reason why I'm super skeptical about this thing inflating properly is because of how difficult it was to even open up to this flat-ish position... it's as if it's been rolled up for years!!! ... show more
