The unit comes with the wheels on which makes it easy to maneuver. Attractive. Watch an unpacking video just to know what you are looking for. Easy to set up, love the automatic air flow door- opens and closes with on and off button. Good for keeping dust out and safe around kids and pets. The 3 airflow settings are just right- the highest being quite powerful. It begins cooling immediately. We haven't set it up in the window yet- it's March and we are in the Northeast. I haven't tried the remote yet- probably wont use it much. Caution when opening bag with remote, batteries and manual - there is a small screw in there to stabilize the window installation. Style: 10,000 BTU With WIFi
This AC unit exceeded my expectations. I saw a mix of good and bad reviews and decided to roll the dice because it’s 10,000 btu and most units in this price range are 8,000, and don’t have wifi controls. I get extremely uncomfortable in heat (I grew up in Alaska but am living much further south now.. So I’m very sensitive to hot temps) and had really high hopes for this product. At first I was disappointed at how loud it seemed- but once I got it all hooked up and the exhaust duct on and connected to the window, it became much quieter. I quickly realized that the bulk of the noise is the exhaust fan. So when the rear exhaust duct is connected it muffles that sound quite a bit. It still makes some noise, but I’m able to be on zoom calls just a few feet from the unit and it doesn’t affect the audio. One thing I haven’t seen mentioned in the comments is how well the wheels on the bottom work to allow the unit to easily move around. It’s effortless to push the unit in any direction (your only limited by the length of the ducting). So after reading some negative comments saying the unit leaks from the inside, I find it pretty simple to check for this. If you drain it properly, and check the bottom plug ever so often, I don’t think there is anything wrong with this product leaking. I have not experienced this whatsoever. I have drained the bottom plug a few times, which drains any condensation that stays in the unit. All in all, this is a good unit and I’d buy it again. ... show more

Just received the SereneLife SLPAC14.5 Portable Air Conditioner-Compact Home A/C Cooling Unit a few days ago and so far so good. It was extremely easy to set up and I really didn't need the instructions but did use the images just to be sure I was putting it together correctly. Took about 5 minutes and the unit was ready to go. It's still a little chilly where I live so I did test it for 10 minutes to make sure it worked and it seems to blow out really cold air. Have to wait until it gets warmer or the summer to really test this unit out. I will definitely write another review once it gets hot out and let you know how it performs. ... show more

I put this unit in my sleeping room because of the lack of cool nights in the southern U.S. This is a dual purpose air conditioner/dehumidifier and it keeps the room cool and removes excess humidity as well. I was able to set it up without help in just a few minutes.

The product is completely Wi fi and confusing. There could be issue with gas leakage in Refrigerant which was not disclosed. It’s not user friendly in the back where tubing goes. Was not disclosed how long you can run a/c unit before emptying built up condensation. It’s not set up fir continuous emptying of condensation. The hose is cheap short and inconvenient if one uses their system. This in itself was a big no for me. I returned it unused new immediately in its box, which by the way the box was damaged at the bottom when. I have had other a/c units, which work great, however are no longer available so I ventured onto anaxon…but this one does not report on Amazon all the information needed and certainly not considered safe enough for me based on the. instructions and information, and lack of.. Ivdecidedcto go their own we sue forcthis product, and there was a bad review there.. My personal opinion, really do a deep dive on these kinds of units before purchasing. ... show more

I was impressed from the moment I was able to get it up the steps to my door, alone. That's on the delivery dirtbag. First off, it arrived sooner than originally originally estimated - during a lull in the heatwave, so I was able to get it set up and tested before the current heat blast began today. It was packaged very well, with all of the components, except the 2 screws required for the exhaust hose. No probs. There's always a few loose screws floating around this funny farm. I'm disabled, one of the main reasons I chose this model, for ease of moving around the house. I had to come up with something to keep the exhaust hose window plate in my window, because it is too long to be set within the window itself. So I placed a section of 2" thick Styrofoam on the window sill, then put the exhaust plate on that, but snug up against the bottom of the window. The "handle" on the bottom of the window keeps that plate in place well enough and I only had to plug tiny gap to prevent air escaping. The unit is really simple to operate, not any louder than other AC units, and most vital - my 10,000 btu AC is cooling my entire house from one central room. I hope this lasts a long time, because on my first day using it, I'm glad to give it 6/5 stars. ... show more
