Took this snorkel set to the Caribbean and it served me well on several islands. I like this style a little better than the whole face type. I have used more expensive sets that did not work as well. This is proof you don't need to spend a lot of money for a hobby set of snorkel gear.

We are not experienced snorkelers but we bought this mask and snorkel set for a Caribbean cruise and thought it worked well. I had to tighten the mask a good bit to get it to fit but I have a thin face. The snorkel seemed to work well and I did not have to clear it a lot.
