Excellent Performance & Great Support I installed this Senville LETO mini split in my Pennsylvania basement, and it has performed amazingly well—even through our cold PA winters. Once installed by a professional, the whole setup was a breeze and has been running flawlessly. I own a few other mini splits, and this one definitely holds its own. The heating and cooling power are strong, quiet, and consistent. The only small issue I ran into was with the Wi-Fi kit not working at first, but I contacted Senville and their customer service was great—they sent me a replacement for free until everything connected properly. Now it works perfectly with the NetHomePlus app along with the rest of my units. Overall, extremely happy with this mini split. Great value, great performance, and great support. I love the concept of the product. It is a very Sleek quiet unit I only finished installing it yesterday I have a 12,000 BTU 220 volts. What I did not like about the unit, I put this in a bedroom with cinder block walls and sheetrock. I used the 3-in concrete hole saw which work great. But the tube that you send the wiring through and the refrigerant lines was too short it was not meant to go through 12 in of concrete wall stucco and sheetrock. It seems to work well I don't know if there was a video from the manufacturer about installation I only found installation tips on YouTube which were helpful. The other suggestion I may give when hooking up the wires from your power source which would be the line in on the AC disconnect to the unit use horseshoe and connectors because the wire is thick and there is not much room for the wire to grab where the screw hold down is. As far as everything else connection was very easy vacuuming the system was very easy. It is extremely quiet and I do love it so far. But be extremely aware, they will not warranty the unit at all unless it was professionally installed by AC Tech and you must Evacuate the system of air to a negative 30. Mr Cool which I found out later you do not have to back the system and I do not think you need to have Professional installation for warranty. It is made solely for do-it-yourselfers. I will update the progress of the unit in a few months. One other thing I don't like about the remote is that you have to press a button to get the LED light on the screen of the remote ... show more

Awesome unit. I was a bit hesitant to do this myself. I'm a pretty handy guy but had never done anything with HVAC lines or vacuum testing. I was worried about kinking the copper pipe. Well it turns out I was over worrying as usual. I got installation done in a day. Wife helped me for a bit feeding lines through wall but otherwise did on my own. Unit is quiet and so far I'm quite impressed with the output. Can't speak to longevity yet but at the low price point I can buy 5 of these and still be cheaper than having an HVAC company do it. We really like this split ac/heater. I has been running now about 5 weeks, one full billing cycle. We put it in our "over the garage" studio unit and our renter runs the heater full time. We have PG&E as our electric provider and with the unit and the electric hot water heater, our PG&E bill only went up $100 this past month. The area we are heating is approximately 500 sq ft. It is very quiet and even though the inside unit is fairly large on the wall, my walls are white, it is white and after a short time, didn't even really notice it. Now for comments on installation. My husband has a vast background in construction and he states that the instructions are terrible. Thank goodness for YouTube videos of those who have forged the way. This is not for the novice DIY installer. However if you have experience, it is very doable but will take a bit of time if you are adding to a {living space} home. Would have been easier if just adding to an unfinished garage or shop. Update: We have had this unit for 3 years now and are still loving it. It heats and cools wonderfully. Winters our temp get in the low 30's F and summers get up to 110 F . We have never had an issue. We just purchased our 2nd unit for our bedroom and will be getting a 3rd for our living room. ... show more
