  • Works great
Size: Tri Zone (3) 9000 BTU
My home is about 1300sqft, I live in California and have no insulation in the walls. 1940s home. Also my windos are original. Tri zone mini split cools my house down very fast an long lasting. I had this for 2 years, 2 summer and 2winter. The heater works great. My bill use to be over $500 in the summer, temp up to 110⁰. My last 2 summers, I pay an average of $200. Last year I added a pool to the home an eletric bill still stays around the same. I'm the winter the heater makes the entire house nice and comfortable. No noise. It's not easy to install. I needed way more parts. Plumber helped put it all in an I was able to get extra insurance and warranty. ... show more

  • Good quality for a good price
Size: Tri Zone (3) 9000 BTU
Very quiet, no issues, easy to use. Cheaper than most brands but still gets the job done. Don't know yet if it is economic because I have not seen the bill yet to compare but so far no complaints

  • High efficiency, good price, and amazing service. DIY only if you're very handy.
Size: Tri Zone (3) 9000 BTU
Bottom line: Super efficient, quiet, and comfortable at a good price. This mini split system allows for individual zone control which lets us keep rooms at different temperatures or focus AC on rooms (especially S,SW facing) that need it more than others. So far I have installed two outdoor units and 6 indoor units. I also have one more three-zone system on the way. The plan is to completely replace our two 17-year old, 13 SEER central ACs with these and at the same time improve efficiency and comfort. So far I think it's going really great. The first system took roughly 26 hours (across 5~ days) from start to finish. The second system probably took about 12 hours across 3 days. I took a lot of time reading and re-reading the installation manuals. I also spent a lot of time considering where the air handlers, condensers could/should go, where to make holes, and how to route the line sets with minimal length and bends. The 28k BTU condenser unit is very heavy and needs at least two people to move around without denting. I am using Senville's WIFI-KIT accessory to make each unit compatible with my Home Assistant server. This base system can be upgraded with larger sized air handlers and longer line sets on Senville's website. A tidy DIY installation is not for the faint of heart, but it is definitely possible if you're smart about it and are willing to buy some inexpensive specialty tools/equipment (flaring tool, vacuum pump, etc). There are also steps completely missing from the manual that an HVAC technician would be able to reason through and that an impatient novice could totally mess up. For example, when purging the system, there are separate valves for each zone and an additional set of main valves. The installation manual does not mention anything about these separate main vs zone valves nor does it clearly show the location of where they are. So some reasoning is required to understand the procedure and do it successfully. And FYI, the 10-year compressor warranty, 5-year parts warranty requires that the system's first start be done by a licensed electrician or HVAC technician. I hope my experience inspires anyone who's on the fence. It's a fun and worthwhile project if you have the time, handiness, and the ambition. I'll probably add one more unit to a future shed. ... show more

  • Best investment
Size: Tri Zone (3) 9000 BTU
We purchased this for our home in Florida. Prior AC did an adequate job, but monthly cost was becoming excessive. Within one month of installation our energy bill was down almost $80.00 a month. Installation took my husband a few days. Runs quiet, removes humidity from the home. Keeps the entire house at the set temperature, whether warmer during the day or cooler at night to enjoy a blissful night of sleep. ... show more

  • Not yet at 2 yrs but here's an update
Size: Tri Zone (3) 9000 BTU
***** update 8-31-2022, went from 3 stars to 5****& So as it tuned out these units are good. The condenser ( outside unit) has A, B, C. Locations for the copper lines near the bottom of it. And near the top there's A,B,C locations for the wire hook-ups. Sinville helped narrow down the issue. ABC copper lines was ok it was the wires for ABC locations that was wrong. Run each line, and wires from each inside unit separately. A to A, B to B, and C to C . If you have multiple unit's. Also the copper lines sweat alot. But I've changed my 3 star to 5 and these units do great so far for the past few yrs This is a tri unit . I was thinking I could have one in a different room one in office and one in living room. And whichever room I was in I could turn that unit on and off as I went from room to room. This is not the case . If one unit is running the lines freeze up. You have to have all 3 units on to keep the unit from freezing up . It takes a while to switch from air conditioning to heat before the heat actually kicks on. I would have gotten 3 individual units if someone would have posted that this package can't be used individually and all 3 units have to be on in order to prevent the copper lines from freezing up!!!! ( ignore that freezing up part, that's been resolved and was a wire issue however it's still slow going from air conditioning to heat) ... show more
