This is my second unit purchased and installed,1st was a 24k ducted unit over 1 1/2yrs and zero problems. No issues with installation. Bonus comes with the newer thermostat that actually reads and displays interior temp. Wish it had the wifi capabilities. I have been super pleased with our Senville since I self installed it. The ducted version allowed me to properly heat and cool our whole 1k sf house in Maine. It has been super in summer and great in winter. I specifically wanted something without electric resistance backup so I could see how it does. All of that said it’s stated rating is to minus 22. I have noticed when we get around 5f it starts to fall off. It still runs great, just starts to struggle to maintain set point as output falls off. Support has been very responsive. First downside is the thermostat is not standard wired or wifi/ smart enabled so cant remotely turn on, off at my cabin. Second, it failed in our second year Summer. 2 techs have been unable to repair it.

the machine works well, HOWEVER: the digital controller was evidently designed by SATAN himself. Instruction are limited, wrong, confusing and misleading. I am very used to install ACs , elecric stuff no problem but boys..... The thing is missing a wire between the controller and the unit. There are 3 or 4 different dongles, cords, adapter, connectors bla bla then no slot to plug them onto the elecronic board! The controller need a positive wire to power up or it wont work. and you have to figure it out on your own and make a bodge wire on the board. You must be crafty and creative! Anyway, done it, modified it it works well. Still, controller is poorly designed, hard to understand and ostile to programm. ... show more

I have a another mini split by a different manufacturer I wish I would have got this product first this unit is so quiet I have to make sure it still works so far it's cost-effective compared to my other brand that I have that next summer I will be switching out to this brand both units are the same BTUs the other brand when it goes into heat mode vibrates so bad that I think my building is going to fall down would recommend this to anybody ... show more

After owning 3 of these units for several months now, I can definitely tell you to stay away! They were fairly easy to install (if you have the right tools). They worked well in the summer up to about 80 degrees. Over that they struggled. After a couple months, one started making a very loud noise. I called support and they told me to restart it and they would call me back in 30 minutes. I am still waiting for the call, 52 days later, and it’s still making the noise. The thermostat has a 3 degree +/- which means you set it for 70 and the room swings between 67 and 73 all day and night. I asked support and they said that is “normal”! They were working ok in the cold until it got down to 0 and they completely went to crap. Blowing out cold air and leaving my family to freeze. Luckily I have a fireplace and was able to save my family and my plumbing! Save your money! These are junk and their tech support is a joke!!!!!!!!! ... show more
