This air conditioner works really well. We cut a hole in our bedroom wall and installed it. Now we don't have to run the central AC at night. The noise level is not bad, makes a white noise we can sleep to. The remote has a lock feature, which makes it easy to turn on without reseting.

The unit itself is great and easy to install. It arrived with all the hardware needed - which I appreciate. I deducted a star cause the metal vent on the back of my unit arrived with some damage which cut up my hands and wrist while I was installing it :( The box it was shipped in didn’t have any significant damage, so I suspect this may have happened before it was packaged. With that being said, I’ve had no issues with it. The controls are straightforward and I like the convenience of the remote. It cooled down my room (about 200 sq ft) in less than an hour during an unexpected Texas heatwave. I’ve had several different window units and the noise level for this unit is decent. Most of the time I can tune it out. I have my unit set to the energy saver mode, so I do hear it switch on and off throughout the day. ***update*** the ac still doesnt get cold. We spent over $100 for basically a fan. Tried to contact the seller but never heard back. I would def think twice before irsering from here. We live in a split level house and have 2 central ac units. On the one that goes to my bedroom and our living room the compressor doesn't kick on. So I've ordered parts but until we get it fixed I needed some cold air. I live in Texas and thankfully this spring and summer have been extremely mild so far. A window unit should be more than enough to keep my bedroom cool, even cold. Its pretty heavy but inwas able to carry it inside by myself. It comes with all the things you need to install. The things that go on either side of the ac and the piece you attach to the top of the ac to prevent it from sliding out of the window. I was able to easily install it on my own with just a screwdriver. I let it set for several hours in case the stuff inside that makes the air cold needed to settle. The cord is nice and long. I turned it on and let the air blow. After 2 hours of being on it has only blown mildly cool air.. I have turned it off and am letting it rest and will try again but right now I'm highly disappointed. ... show more

We put this air conditioner in our senior dog room. The temperature controls help keep the room temperature regulated for the seniors. The remote control helps in changing all of the settings and the automatic shutoff when the air conditioner reaches temp is great. The size of the air conditioner works great with our small windows, but does not take away from the power we need it for. It is a great value for what it does. ... show more
