We just had a heat wave, and this arrived just in time. My 7 month old, 18 pound puppy immediately jumped in to play with the hose spray as I was filling it and had a blast splashing around. I only put a couple of inches of water in it, but that was enough for him to cool off and made it manageable for me to empty the water and reserve it for my garden. I'm a fairly small person so being able to quickly set this up and break it down and store it myself is very handy, especially since it takes almost no space once it's folded up. It came with patch material as well, but hopefully we won't need it for a while. We have very hot summers here so I expect we'll be using this pretty often -- this puppy loves water!

We ordered the 31" pool for an indoor toybox for our dog (German Shepard, Belgian Malinois mix). He promptly decided to sit in the pool with all the toys and look at us like he was upset that there was no water. Apparently quite the effective pool. Great for a small dog, but apparently may be sufficient for a bigger one. It seem like a quality pool. Nice durable feeling material that folds up for easy transport, and is easy to set up. The photo with the kid and pup is clearly edited, because it's not as big as that image makes it look. Even the 47" pool isn't going to be as big as they make it look. But that should be common sense, and the pool is really nice if you overlook the creative marketing.

We got the small (31in), and I'm already thinking that for my small puppy (2-3lbs), this can double as a playpen! It's a good size and I'm looking forward to using this to introduce her to swimming. This may be a bit too much water to use for a bath though (for her size anyway). But either way it folds up nicely so I can put it away easily.
