I NEVER review anything but this dog bath truly saved my back. My 80 pound rescue GSD is a bit aggressive with other dogs. Horrible experiences with mobile groomers so I needed to do it myself. I've tried before but unfortunately that bending over kills my back. Wasn't sure I could get him to cooperate but he did great getting up the stairs (NOT on the first try but he pulled it off!) This thing was very sturdy both the stairs and the basin - and I had it on landscaping rock, not even the patio. The drain worked great and when it gets clogged with hair, very simple to just pull out the hair and keep going. Very easy to assemble - 5 min, and folds up with the stairs attached and lives in the closet. This thing is fantastic for the price - less than $200! You won't be disappointed. ... show more

We love this tub - best investment ever! It’s sturdy enough and can handle our 25kg English bulldog and a bit of his chewing. The tub is also quite spacious and can fit our dog sitting and lying down. The tub material is sturdy, but still provides ample cushion for his paws. This thing is everything I was looking for in a bath for my two big guys. It is perfect. It’s sturdy and well made. I was really worried it would be a waste of money but it’s easy to fold and store, the stairs are easy to put on and my dogs- a cane Corso (90lbs) and a Golden Shepard (60lbs) do well in it. They are both a little skittish with baths and this works GREAT. We can put a little water in the bath to start and still fold down the side so they can walk in. That way it warms in the Sun a little first and we can wash them with that water first. Lots of options with this bather. If you’re on the fence, it’s worth the $$. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This was a perfect dog bath for our big Husky! Easy to put together & held his weight with no problem. Plenty of room for him to stand & draining the bath worked great. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this so much! I was really worried that the basin or the stairs wouldn’t be sturdy once my 80 lb dog got on it, but both are super sturdy! It’s also such a back saver! I used to wash my dog in the bath tub, but my back was hurting from having to bend down the entire time to scrub him which made his bath take longer as well because I’d have to take breaks. I now wash my dog in the backyard with this portable tub and it makes clean up so much faster and easier as well. The only con is that the drain isn’t longer. One of the drains it came with broke, so I used the backup one. However, the drain is really short, even once I extended it, so the water did eventually pool on my feet, which I did not like at all. UPDATE: I reviewed this after owning it for six months. I've come back to update this after using it now for almost a year and a half to say that I still love it. Definitely worth the price. I have set this thing up and folded it back many, many times and it is going strong. I 100% recommend, even if you want to put it in a small shower, as I did. See notes below; you don't need a huge bathtub setup to make this thing work. If you wash a dog often, buy this. Your back will thank you. I love this bathtub. I was worried about buying it, because I had a vision of trying to use it in a small shower that sits inside a very small bathroom. Meanwhile, every review/picture showed people setting this thing up outside or in a bathtub. But with just a bit of jockeying, this works great. I unfold it with one half/one set of the tub legs in the shower and the stairs side of the tub and stairs outside the shower. Then I just make sure the drainage hose (brilliant addition to this simple device that makes my vision work) is inside the shower and directed at the drain. Voila! My small bathroom plan might not work if I had a dog who fights the bath the whole time, because using it my goofy way requires turning the dog to face the front and the rear to wash different parts, rather than securing her to the built-in collar and being able to walk around the tub to get at different parts. My doodle HATES the bath, but can be cajoled up the stairs and urged to follow instructions to face different directions. Therefore, even in this tiny space, it is no problem for me to stand just to the side of the steps half of the tub to wash the dopeydoodle. The tub is also great for using the doggie hair dryer on her, because it's better for my back and easier to keep her contained than drying her just on the floor. I also thought this might be a pain to fold up and store inside the small shower or move it elsewhere for storage, but nope. Couldn't be easier for me to set up and take down. NOTE FOR TALL PEOPLE: If I had a magic wand, or the ear of the manufacturer, the one thing I would change would be to make it height adjustable. I'm a 5'9" woman, and this is a tad too short for me to use without bending. Still, it's far better than bending and washing her old school in a shower or tub and also better than buying a $1K pro tub that adjusts for height but also requires its own dedicated space. ** No doodles were harmed in photographing this product, though her expression might lead you to believe otherwise. ... show more

This dog tub was one of the best purchases I made this year! I purchased the one for large dogs up to 150 pounds to bathe my 40 pound Aussie in. It was easy to put together, it’s the perfect height so that you don’t hurt your back, and it was super easy for my dog to get in and out of with the steps and the fold down ends. Drain and hose worked like a dream (of course I had to get some hair out of the drain hole) and it was effortless clean up.
