There's an awful lot that can go wrong here. The spring inside the buckle could fail. The clamp that holds the buckle on could loosen. But it was easy to trim. it fits wonderfully, looks great and holds my jeans up.Amazing belt for the money.

After cutting the belt down to size it was great! The quality is solid the buckle took some getting used to, as my last buckle had a button, this one you lift up the entire belt front. But I really like this! Need to make one for women!

The locking mechanism works but feels flimsy.
This is a nice leather belt and I love these ratchet designs as they allow the belt to adjust to exact size easily. This one, however, the locking mechanism feels loose like it might let go at any moment. Works fine so far, but won't be surprised if it stops working in a few months.

Belt has a better design than others,does not have that little spring handle that mist of the others have which eventually breaks,so far so good,belt appears to be made of leather.
