This is the third one I have purchased. The first one lasted almost 10 years, and many many dogs. I cover one in plastic in the winter, and put it out on my back deck, so my dogs have somewhere they can get in out of the cold wind during their time outside. This first one just finally died this year. The sun thoroughly baked the material, and it started to disintegrate. So I immediately purchased another one. I leave one in the summer, home, and the other one here. I am a dog rescuer, and I have lost count of the number of dogs that have come through my home, on their way to their forever family. This was so easy to pop up and close. 2 different zipper access and little pouches to hold toys treats etc. I ordered this for my cat who just had surgery and can’t have him with my other cat so he will be sleeping in this at night time so his sister can still be in the room with us! Very sturdy for being a little pop up tent ordered it and it got here in one day ... show more

Bought this for a 4 week old kitten, so him and my adult cat can be separated. The size is great, and incredibly easy to use. Just open and it pops up. The floor layer doesn’t absorb liquid. The zippers are easy and not as noisy. I love how the door zip panel has tVelcro so you can roll it up and keep open if needed. This product looks exactly like the picture. It is pretty roomy which is nice. I did not use this product for outdoors. My cat had surgery and I need her to be confined to prevent her from hurting herself. It's easy to collapse. It came with a few pee pee pads. The zipper in the front I have no problem with at all. It has Velcro so you can keep it up which I love. Allows your pet to come in and out as they please. The zipper at the top (the circle) is somewhat flimsy. It can come off easily so you have to be as gently as possible using this. It came off a few times so now when I open the top I do not open it completely. It is very breathable for your fur baby. I will say if you have a pet that can be a little too energetic, you might want to invest in some type of soft weight to hold it down. The first day I came back from the ER with my cat she flipped it while she was inside. She's calm now, so no need for weights, just wanted to put that information out there in case. ... show more

The pen is relatively small, but it was suitable for our purposes. We were babysitting a friend’s kitten and needed a safe way to introduce them to our cat. The kitten had some accidents inside of the container, but the waterproof base made it an easy cleanup process. The mesh is strong enough to keep a kitten in, but my adult cat was able to puncture a couple holes in it when he tried hard enough. It definitely isn’t a long term container for a medium to large size animal, but the kitten had plenty of room and was quite comfortable in it.     • Definitely not big enough for puppies
I can't see a puppy in one of these, they're too small. This could be a good nesting box for a nursing mother cat, bc the top is removable, but there's barely any room if you plan to put toys or feeding bowls in it. I'm a category II wildlife rehabilitator, and I purchased this for a juvenile Opossum I'm fostering. He has injuries to his tail and leg that will preclude him from surviving in the wild, so re-release isn't an option. He will become an educational animal ambassador, and has a much larger "house" with lots of room for climbing, but I wanted something portable for when I was working in my home office, so I could keep an eye on him and feed him as needed. This was much smaller than I expected. He's only 4.5" from nose to the base of his tail, so still very small, but once I added a feeding bowl and water bowl, a corner litter box, and a small bed, there was nowhere near enough room for him. These are also a bit flimsy- they fold down nicely for storage, but easily fold in on themselves if the animal tries to"investigate " if it can get out. Even a jumping kitten could probably flip it. I can't think of a single dog breed, even as a puppy, this would be appropriate for, but if you have a small exotic pet whose nails can't get snagged on the screen or chew through it, it would be okay as a temporary housing situation for an hour or two. Something like a small rabbit or Guinea pig would fit, but be cautious and supervise while they're in it. ... show more

This is sturdy and keeps my little miniature schnauzer monster contained. She is almost 6 months now and still fits in this comfortably. There's room for a bed mat for her to lay on and plenty of room for her toys to keep her entertained. She has figured out how to tip it over by leaning on the netting, but that wasn't unexpected and she can't escape when it's zipped. I keep this at work for the days she comes with me and it's great.
