This helmet meets all my needs for e-bike riding. I did not need to relocate the speakers for better sound as one reviewer suggests. Even though my head diameter exceeds the maximum for a medium size by 1/8", it still fits well. I don't recommend going to a large size if you're in the same boat as it would be 1/8" less than the minimum and perhaps fit too loose. The manual says the clear lens lock is located on the left side, but it's actually on the right.

The bluetooth system is very good. The controls are not particularly counterintuitive, but the speakers are more than loud and clear enough to take calls during a ride at speed. The microphone setup is actually pretty amazing - you can turn off the microphone from the helmet controls, but the noise filtering system is so good you don't need to use it. The helmet as a helmet is fine. My old Scorpion had more robust padding and a nice feature that allowed you to just crack open the visor, but - for the price, it's a nice enough lid with an excellent bluetooth system.

Love this helmet. Live in the sweltering summers and humidity of Louisiana. Bought a cheap and durable helmet to test drive my now new motorcycle, but I needed something with more airflow and technology. Has a companion app for the helmet so you can play music AND have your navigation going at the same time! Also, links up with your buddies while on a long ride. love that the helmet is rated to have the chin portion up and locked in place while riding for those days you want to feel the fresh air on your face. Absolutely love the hands-free phone calling. Was on my way home after dark when my elderly neighbor called to check in on me... about halfway through the call, I asked how the call sounded ( as I had the front part of the helmet up and locked in place, was doing around 60 mph down the Hwy and was 100% hands-free and full attention to the road; while I was also taking his call. Blew his mind! I had looked at a similar style helmet from Germany, which cost 3-4 times what this one does ( once you get the helmet and the BT kit that is built for it specifically). I just couldn't see myself parting with so much money at this time, had just graduated from The Harley Driving Academy in the literally hottest part of the summer this year... and almost had a heat stroke. I did my homework and found this exact same helmet that some slap a logo on and charge twice as much for just over $200. I would absolutely purchase this helmet again! I love it daily and it makes gearing up to ride a breeze ( especially for those of use who wear glasses ).

I was so excited when my helmet arrived way before it's scheduled delivery date. Was very much looking forward to using it right away but unfortunately it didn't fit. I was very careful to order the correct size, and indeed the size ordered is what was delivered. However despite it having the same dimensions (64cm) as my current helmet, it felt like a child's helmet on my big fat head! Not only did the helmet not go all the way down to my jaw line but my nose barely fit when the helmet was closed. So sadly it would be unsafe for me to try and ride with this helmet. Listen, if you're a big man like me just keep in mind ordering anything you're going to wear, online, is a dice roll at best. Otherwise looked like an awesome helmet.

I’ve got about 1000 miles on the helmet now, and wanted leave an honest review about the helmet. The build quality is pretty good but it could use better venting. The chin bar and windscreen both have good, positive positions and will hold wherever you leave them at highway speeds. The windscreen is very good, in quality. Wind noise is more than I thought it would be and this hurts the audio quality. At highway speeds with the audio all the way up, you can barely make out the music. You can hear on phone calls, but it is very distorted. The person on the other line can hear you very well, so the noise suppression is pretty good. I read a lot of reviews before purchase and one thing everyone mentioned is to be sure and order a size up. I shouldn’t have done that. Medium is my normal size and Sena’s large is a little bigger on me than I prefer. My riding glasses become very irritating after a short time in this helmet and they’ve never bothered me in my other fullface helmets that actually fit tighter, so I’m thinking it’s the design of the helmet around the ear area… this could be intentional to better seal around the ear to improve audio clarity, but if that’s the case, I’d have opted for more room because as said before, the audio quality just isn’t there as I expected from Sena. All of that being said, for the money, it’s as good as can be expected. Just be sure your expectations are reasonable.

I ordered an XL for myself and a L for the hubby based on what we got fitted for. My XL came in first it fit me great. Super excited about not having to pay for the addnl communications easy to hook up the bluetooth to my phone tested the phone and the music app. His came in 2 days later. It was too small. So I went ahead and ordered the right size and now I have to wait till try the direct communication. Helmet to helmet. Now we need some riding weather.
