The Sellstrom KneePro Hybrid Ultra Flex III Knee Pads features unique gel packs which are placed inside a triple layer 3/4" closed cell foam compartment. The gel brings maximum comfort for users who need to kneel, crawl, or squat for long periods of time. Because of its secure placement and protection, the gel pads are guaranteed to be leak proof. Our knee pads are specially designed to target the patella (the triangular bone that covers the knee joint). The durable, hard black plastic shell is combined with an orange grip strip that provides security and traction without leaving any marks or residue behind. Metal rivet hinge assures easy movement and flexibility. Elastic woven straps have reinforced sewn ends and are attached well above and below the knee, so there is no binding or pressure behind the knees.     • Best knee pads in the world!
I don't usually write reviews but this item really deserves a few minutes of my time to let other hard workers and laborers know that if they are looking for high quality knee protection, they don't need to look any further. I have owned these for over a year now, and when I say I am extremely rough on all my tools and equipment it is a massive understatement. I am 6'6 and 240 lbs, I have worked jobs where I was kneeling down on dirt, rocks, pavement, and just about any other hard surface you can imagine literally hundreds of times a day, over a year later these things are still going strong, practically bulletproof. The straps haven't given an inch, haven't wilted or torn, the pads are still firm haven't flattened or thinned out at all. Another surprise is that they really aren't uncomfortable in the least, they don't slip or slide down my legs, they don't cut off circulation either, and keep in mind that I average twelve to fourteen hour days. I tried all the highest priced pads from the big box hardware stores and they never lasted longer than a few months. When I first opened the box I had my doubts, they looked cheap and far too light, boy was I wrong. I couldn't imagine needing to replace these any time soon.     • Best Knee Pads Ever!
I am a professional carpet cleaner and I am on my hands and knees at least 1/3 of each work day. I have tried many different knee pads, even the ones that are over $60. (Patella-T, I believe it is) These knee pads are without a doubt the best at doing the two most important functions you wish to have in a knee pad: (1) protecting your knees! and (2) NOT SLIDING DOWN YOUR PANT LEG!!. Is that too much to ask from any knee pad? Obviously not for KNEE PRO! Although when I bought my first pair of the Knee Pro pads I was somewhat unimpressed when they arrived with their simplicity of design and materials. But when I first started to use them I WAS SOLD IMMEDIATELY. They protect and comfort my knees like no other pad, and (almost the best part!!) THEY STAY ON YOUR KNEES. (NO MORE ADJUSTING THEM EVERY FIVE MINUTES THROUGH THE DAY!!) The articulating feature keeps them fixed on your knees without sliding down. Wow, the're great!! I can't even believe that the best product is also a bargain at this price as well. If you are on your knees like me, don't wait, order now, you wont regret this purchase. ... show more

    • Finally a knee pad for Frito workers!!!
I work for Frito-Lay as an RSR. I have tried many many different knee pads. The problem i've had is finding a pair that can handle all the movements involved in doing my job. I'm constantly up down merchandising stores. I'm also in and out of the back of a tall truck many times during the day. These knee pads stay in place no matter what i'm doing. I've found that the top strap doesn't need to be very tight at all. The bottom strap just snug works just fine. They do work directly on your skin but they are not as comfortable. I wear a knee brace under them when i use them while wearing shorts just to make them more comfortable. You can wear them under your work pants with no problems. Over pants they are just awesome! Lightweight and never need adjustment. I will be buying a couple more pairs. FWIW, my last pair of knee pads was a proflex 342. Those were gel and these are not. I thought for sure i'd miss the gel but i don't because when it's warm outside the gel moves and the Kp pads worked exactly the same as when it's cold. Plus gel pads are just too heavy.     • My knees are grateful!
After running through a number of sub $10 kneepads and hating them all, I finally spent twice the money on these. Glad I did. These are the first kneepads I'm willing to strap on at the beginning of a work day and leave on for 8 hours. Comfortable enough that I often forget to take them off and drive home from the worksite still wearing them. The rigid caps keep the straps separated so they don't creep towards each other and bunch up behind the knee. So far the foam inserts have not collapsed into thin useless pads. I'm a bit skeptical about the lock tabs on the ends of the elastic straps, that hook into the keyhole on the plastic caps. They are a bit thin and I won't be surprised if they break off soon. And this set of 4 replacement straps seems expensive at $13 for four: Sellstrom 96110-6 Knee-Pro Ultra Flex III Series Knee Pad Strap and Clip (Pack of 4) So, the only reason I'm rating this a 4 is because I perceive a weakness in the elastic strap, and I think replacements are too expensive. I would probably buy these kneepads again if I wear a hole in the rigid cap. If the elastic straps were redesigned with a stronger lock tab, I'd probably rate these at 5. Oh, by the way, these kneepads come with a really nice mesh bag that the pads fit in very tightly. So tightly that I struggled to get them out and after some attempts, never had the patience to put the pads back into. So I advise the manufacture to lose the mesh bag and just enclose some spare elastic straps. (At the same price.) ... show more
