If you are looking to get an affordable, portable tripod for your phone this one is great. The quality is a little low, but matches the price. Great tripod with remote. I use with iPhone 13. I was pleased with the quality and functionality - a good value for the low price. I've had no problems with my phone being secure in the holder with either vertical or horizontal orientation.

Believe it or not this is the first selfie stick I've ever purchased so I knew very little about what to look for. I technically didn't buy it for selfies but instead for taking photo's of out of reach places. I photograph mausoleum crypt plaques and some are up extremely high. Even on a ladder I can't get clear enough photo's. But with this stick I can extend it out pretty far so taking the pictures are a breeze! The remote is pretty straight forward how to set up. I haven't used the tripod option yet but did test it's stability. Like many others have said, it's less sturdy the higher you extend it. All in all I would recommend this product. ... show more

I have mixed feelings about this selfie stick/tripod. While I use it regularly, it is mostly suitable for indoor use only. I typically use it to hold my phone while I am watching TV or gaming and works great for taking some selfies, but I was disappointed by it's outdoor and extended performances. When you use the tripod low to mid height it is pretty sturdy. However, when you extend it high to full height, the tripod becomes very unstable and when used outside in the wind has a tendency to tip over. The base is okay, its is made of plastic and not the widest, which is why at height, with your phone in the holder, the tripod has a tendency to want to tip over. I have made it work and tend to use the tripod at lower heights when outdoors. If you need a cheap tripod quick, this will be sufficient enough. ... show more
