Great extend stick for my GoPro, just the part attaching the camera is a little flimsy, thus need to lock it down. Very portable, and generally sturdy. It's with my GoPro everyday it comes out.

    • Not as advertised
This seemed like it would be perfect for my uses but the phone mount is unstable and phone flops over during use. It might seem tight and secure, but with minimal movement the phone mount rotates. Also, be careful as phone is NOT SECURE IN MOUNT and will fall out if you move quickly.

Edit 9-23-21: I've brought it down to 2 stars, gave one to my daughter who uses it all the time and it has been slowly falling apart. First to go was the cell mount which snapped at the hinge. Next to go was the connection to the swivel ball (see attached picture). NASCAR tape keeps it together for now...... Edit 6-16-2020: I've changed my review to 5 stars after more experience with the unit. My concerns regarding the telescoping lock mechanism were not founded. It has proven to be robust. And the more I thought about the design, a multi functional tripod designed to be mobile, the more I appreciated the design choices the product engineers made to trade off structural design vs. mobility and light weight. No you can't use it as a jack stand for your car but in light of it's intended use, I have grown to like the unit and hence the higher review. Earlier review: While the concept is great, the execution is this devices downfall. The biggest gripe, the twisting lock mechanism of the telescoping stick - it just doesn't feel very strong. Not sure about the durability of this so it looks like it will have desk duty holding a cell phone to be used as a webcam with IP Camera software. This has the feel of cheap selfie sticks you find at discount stores so I agree with others, $65 for this unit is outrageous, less than $30 would have been more reasonable. ... show more
