This selfie stick is good for the price. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: - easy to use - lightweight and small, easy to carry in the backpack Cons: - the remote doesn't work for all the camera apps. Some of my camera apps work and some don't. - you can't tilt the phone too much or the stick might not be able to hold it. I was using the tripod to make an aerial view shot for a Logo building. When you tilt the camera to certain angle, the tripod is not able to hold the weight of the phone. Overall, I think it's a good product to take selfie when you travel. I would recommend this item.

I feel like I'm at least 10 years behind in getting one of these, but my wife and I end up taking a lot of pictures of ourselves while we are out and I'm constantly fumbling and sometimes dropping our phones while trying to take those pictures. So I said to myself, I need to get with the times and get a selfie stick. This model works just fine. The little Bluetooth remote works good and is a nice feature. I also like the fact that the base is a tripod. The end where the phone goes adjusts to fit most phones (I assume). I'm not sure if it would fit a 7 inch tablet though. The whole thing folds down to a very convenient size. As for things that aren't so great, the last, thinnest extension is awfully thin. I can perceive the entire length bending with the weight of the phone at the end. It would be nice if the handle end had a bit of counterweight to it, to make it easier to hold. Maybe you can modify it slightly to add some weight by the handle.
