I love how this big mitt spreads the Beauty by Earth tanning lotion! Can't miss a spot and it spreads so evenly. I was a newbie to sunless tanner but this made it so easy! It's super soft and washes up great too. I love that it's black so it continues to look brand new. The exfoliator mitt is great in the shower, I couldn't believe how smooth my skin was afterwards. When I used it for the first time, it did drip black water everywhere, so rinse it really well before your first use. This mitt is pretty small, but seems to get the job done. I love the small face mitt - that is genius! I have yet to use it but I know it will be better than spreading with my bare hands/fingers. I haven't seen a small applicator like that anywhere else. I really liked that these came in a handy pouch to keep them in. However, mine ripped apart at the "zipper" after just one zip :( Bummed about that because it would've been really handy to keep them in there all together.

Before I used my Beauty By Earth self tanning lotion I shaved and exfoliated with the exfoliating mitt from this kit and my goodness did it work! My legs and arms have never been smoother. Not only did it help even my skin before applying but I was visibly glowing after using it! The application mitt is so high quality too - doesn’t absorb the product, but evenly applies it and keeps your hands protected! It’s so soft and does an amazing job applying the product! The cute little finger applicator mitt was perfect for getting my fingers, toes, face, ears, and delicate areas like my knees and elbows to keep the product from building up there. I love that it comes in a pouch to keep everything in, and they were super easy to clean and dry. Highly recommend this applicator kit along with the self tanning lotion!

I bought this in conjunction with the self tanner from Beauty by Earth as I am new to self tanning and wanted to ensure every possible way that I applied it the best way and correctly to extend my tan. I'm glad I did. The exfoliator mitt is perfect for the shower - I used it with a little soap and as long as you don't apply a ton of pressure (more of a light sweeping motion) then it was not rough for me, I know some other reviewers had complaints about this but with any exfoliator you should not be scrubbing hard. The applicator mitt is so soft and really made the application process easy and fast. For my legs, it takes all of 5 minutes to apply. I clean the mitt right away with warm water and hand soap then hang it to air dry (there is a handy elastic piece attached making it easy to hang). I did not experience any streaks (which I could see happening if you use latex gloves) but I did apply a little lotion to my knees, tops of feet, and back of ankles before applying the self tanning lotion). I haven't used the face mitt yet because my face soaks up sun like nobody's business but I'm sure it would work great too. I would highly recommend investing in this if you are using the self tanning lotion to ensure no streaks and a smooth and easy application.
