SO much watch for the money! The SEIKO SUR373 is one outstanding watch, with the styling, features, and build quality of watches that cost in the high-hundreds and higher! The dark blue sunburst dial appears dark gray most of the time, but when it catches the right light, a beautiful blue can be seen. The dial also features an applied logo, indices, and well designed hands. The quartz movement will keep great time, and the overall build quality, the case and strap are brushed and polished titanium. Not only hypo-allergenic, but SO lightweight! Typical casual/dress watches in this style made of steel will weigh around 130-150 grams. This Titanium SEIKO weighs around 70 grams, depending on the number of links in the strap. I've not tried mine on a NATO strap yet, but I definitely will. I'm sure it will look just as stunning! A great watch, a genuine SEIKO- at a great price! ... show more

I love this watch. Medium small dial. Accurate. Simple. Feels solid. The only thing to be aware of is the metal is slightly darker than I expected. I have a tungsten silver wedding ring and it’s a close match to that which is a few shades darker than a white gold would be.

    • Sapphire & Titanium - my two watch essentials
For about 15 years until recently, I was wearing a Seiko Kinetic Sapphire Titanium watch. I became spoiled by the strong, lightweight, low-key titanium composition. Long before that, I standardized on sapphire crystals -- any other crystal material will get scratched sooner or later. Lately, that Seiko froze and now sits in a repair shop with outcome in question. Fortunately, I came across this Seiko model SUR373 with many similar design elements. Of course, this one uses a standard watch battery vs. the motion-activated charging of the other. So far, I am very satisfied with my new Seiko. The very dark midnight-blue dial could be mistaken for black, but that is OK. The second hand is exactly aligned to the second marks. The watch has kept time within 1 second over the past 48 hours. The only cautionary is that the SUR373's crown ("winding stem") is small, difficult to grip, and feels quite delicate. This is used only for setting the time or date, and I'd advise careful attentive handling during these operations. Almost forgot to mention, this model employs Seiko's simplified link replacement system. Usually, I get pretty stressed in adjusting bracelet size for a new watch. Seiko's new system is truly stress-free if you follow the steps demonstrated in Seiko's instructional YouTube video. To fit my wrist comfortably, I removed two links (one on each side of the bracelet). I did find my Wiha 44520 Tweezers (Amazon B003LY3Z3G) essential for handling the tiny spring and post of each link. ... show more

I love this watch. It’s just the right size and its slim, so it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a 5lb. Weight on your wrist. The titanium material its made from is super light too, and it looks super cool with that brownish gold tint to the metal. The blue face is beautiful and the Hans are easy to see and read. My husband loved the titanium. He had a watch just like it for 5 years. He lost it he was devastated. I was blessed to find another one. He’s a love. Said he’s going to take better care of it. He loves that it’s lightweight.

    • Lightweight...doesn't look like a Japanese pinball machine
Just came in under the wire as the price went from $189 to $245...small size doesn't look like you've got a player piano on your wrist...comes with extra links AND the tool to install them...any reasonably intelligent adult can size this watch band perfectly...tells me the time and the date...I don't need to know my heart rate and what time it is in Berlin OR how much air I have left in my dive tanks...if you've in the market for a well made titanium watch with hands on it this is your stop... ... show more
