    • Flat crystal and no screw down crown
When I saw this model I immediately thought that it had a come crown. The picture is deceiving and the the crystal is flat but does have some protection from the raised bezel. I added a 29mm round screen protector to the crystal. I am now way more happy. I was hoping that it WAS a domed crystal as then it would have that "retro look" I was interested in. This is also the newer style "Sport 5" Seiko which means ONLY 100m water resistance. This is a disappointment as the watch has That great "Dive watch" look to it and a 200m rating with screw down crown would be awesome for this watch. Don't let that stop you from buying it as the overall looks make up for that. The mesh band is VERY nice and adjustable. I don't know the max wrist size it will fit. After I adjusted the band for my wrist, I took it off and put on a dark blue 5ring NATO band with black hardware. Just a personal preference and I think it makes the bezel stand out. The dark blue face with cream index markers and white chapter ring with black second tick marks is a great look. When I lit up the Lume, it had a blue color to it which looked very nice and very easy to read and stayed readable all night until I turned on the light in my room. I had the next day off from work and the Lume lasted 10 hours and could have gone longer. As for size of the watch, a very comfortable look and not over sized for its appearance. I believe it states a 42mm size and wears as such and should not be any problem for either dress or casual wear. So, my overall opinion is that IT IS WORTH the money. I took away points/stars for reasons stated above that "I would like" this particular model too have and I believe that this watch has a great look and feel to it with and without the original metal mesh band. ... show more

Beautiful design and function! The bracelet is also very attractive and easily adjustable. This watch wears, feels and looks like a much more expensive brand. I love it.
