This the real deal.. It is pricey, cant comment on the things i gave only 3 stars because I dont wear it much because it is so beautiful. A work of Art. Hey, it is a Seiko,,,it will last and can be repaired for 20 years after manufacture. And it will hold its value, I sent a 20 year old divers watch in to Seiko and they still had the parts for it, It puts Rolex's to shame. This watch is widely admired and widely reviewed. I have little to add, except that the compass feature is very cool. Google it and you will learn how to use it (although it is cloudy and rainy today, so pointing the hour hand at the sun would not be easy). This watch is exemplifies why Seiko is hands-down, the most innovative and admired watch company in the world. Not the only good watch company by a long shot, but from excellent $200 watches to mid-range watches like this and its legendary divers, to collectible Grand Seikos, the company never ceases to amaze. ... show more

This is a very nice watch, but it does have one drawback. Even with the bubble on the date window it is still very hard to read. I had to send the watch back.

Received product and was defective out of the box. Had it on auto winder for 4 hours and watch never started. Also, when I opened the box it did not seem like it was packaged like a new watch, I think they sent me used/returned product. Returned the watch same day.
