I use lumbar pillows heavily and this was has fantastic, firm support. It's really designed for use in the car and does this flawlessly! I don't find it to work well in my office chair or my elaborate pillow set-up in bed, mostly due to the leather like material being slick and the shape not being quite right. What I like: The SEG Direct Lumbar Support Pillow for Car features a very good quality outer shell and it's great that it doesn't seem to absorb odors. In addition, pet hair doesn't stick to it at all. It's convenient, and despite not featuring any straps to secure it to car seat, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it actually stays put quite well. It's very easy for traveling abroad, as you just grab it and go! What I don't like: There's simply not enough "arch" to the lower portion of the pillow, thus it is making a small difference compared to no pillow at all, but is providing very limited lower lumbar support. I would consider ordering this item again, but only if a new, improved version is offered. ... show more

This blends in nicely with my office chair. It's not too big, and I often use it with another support pillow at the top for my upper back. My issue was that I bought an office chair with a large seat that ended up being slightly too big and doesn't have much cushioning.
