I did not have to pay for shipping or send the old one back! This is a well-built machine backed and the company offers some really good customer support. It may be a good quality machine, I didn't not test it in the long run, but it has ease of use problems. Cons -When you turn the top of the machine around to the back the machine tips over from the weight, the bottom needs to be weighted. You have to pull put the bottom shelf out first to steady it, which is an extra unneeded step. -The metal top gets much too hot, like touching an iron. I found I needed a press with a heat resistant top. -When trying to change the heat I had trouble with the machine staying on the previous set temperature. Im not sure if you have to reset it between uses or what but with my other machine changing all the settings was much easier and streamlined.

Gave it a 4 star rating for "Easy to use" due to the fact that the instructions are actually very vague in general use of product. Once the user plays with the controls for a bit and gets used to them, then the user is able to figure out how to set timer and other features. If it weren't for this difficulty, this would have been an all around 5 star rating. As far as value for the money spent? Well worth every penny. Extremely sturdy sand once the user is able to figure out all of the features, it works fantastic! Give yourself some time to learn it and play with the controls. You might as well buy several different types of items your going to print on and expect to make several mistakes (costing you additional money in the beginning). Don't despair, you'll figure it out and become a true master of the unit with time and effort.

IMPORTANT NOTE: WHEN YOU NEED TO RETURN THIS PRESS - YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING TO CHINA. THIS IS A 3RD PARTY, so AMAZON will not work with you. 1st issue: We had to take the 4 screws out from the digital display area to remove a plastic black pc. No idea where it goes, it appeared to be an extra part. 2nd issue: The temp display on day one, wacked out where it went crazy fast in temps so much so I couldn't read it. It just kept changing really quick - I had to power it down to get it to stop. 3rd Issue is I was heating up a DTF at 330 Degrees for 2 minutes and the machine started smoking. 4th Issue It keeps making a clicking noise over and over again. Just so disappointed because this was a really good price for a 12x10 Plate, which brings up another issue. 5th Issue the plate is not a TRUE 12x10. The heat plate is more like a 9"x11. All these issue is not user issues. I've been using heat presses for over a year now. The one for my business is a $800 press. I just needed something cheap for doing onesies, toddler shirts and drying DTF. UPDATE: 3 weeks after buying: It will not heat up and the digital display goes crazy in speeding through displays that are going so fast you cannot read it. DO NOT BUY THIS. It's crap.

I purchased this a few years back, worked great till it didn’t. It started to over heat several months back, I don’t want to do away with it. Can anyone help? I bought another control box and it wouldn’t work. So it isn’t reading the temp, it would just show up with three lines, and it just got hot, hot, burned a shirt. So with the new one it also displayed just the three lines or dots on temp window. On the one I bought, little booklet said if the three lines came up, it was not compatible with my machine. But that can’t be the issue with my original box it came with. Can anyone point me In the direction to help me out with this? Thank you so much.

I was anxious at buying this at first, it seemed to be to good to be true, but I was wrong. This heat press works amazing! The additional presses are great to have. I haven’t used all of them yet, but the cup and tumbler ones work just as well. They are easy to change out. Once you read the instructions s and figure the buttons out it is easy as well. So far the heat distribution is great. I’ve had this for over a year I believe and it still works just the same as the day I received it. Shipping was fast, nothing damaged. The only thing I noticed is there is a tenge of a smell, especially when I first started using it. However, it was brand new and probably happened because of that. Other than that, it was one of the best purchases I’ve made and worth the money!
