This is my go to seed starter soil. Great for plant health, moisture, versatility and cost. I bought two bags and I’ve potted 120 seedlings with this soil and still had some left I used to repot a cactus I brought back to health. Will buy again. The only thing I would say is when I got them in the mail one bag was opened and spilled in the box but best believe and dumped it and used that soil lol. But that was the only thing I would say isn’t the sellers fault. Probably broke in transport. Otherwise love this and will be purchased again.

It's good soil, but be prepared to deeply rehydrate it with a 1020 tray or a significant amount of time/water. It is nice and loose, with a few organic chunks. The chunks are easy to push down to the bottom, so they don't appear to impair seed germination. I recommend this soil, but it's always best-practice to amend seed starting soil with azomite and/or worm castings in general

Used this for starting seeds indoors, in standard 1” six-pack seed starter trays. Filled four domed starter trays (12 six-pack trays each) and only used about half of this bag…will have enough left over for next season. Had almost 100% germination of the seeds…if you did the math that’s 288 seedlings! Probably had bad seeds on the few that didn’t come up. And of those that sprouted, 100% survived transplanting, hardening and planting outdoors. The seeds were common kitchen herbs, peppers and onions. I’ll buy more of this when I run out, well worth the money. Recommended.

Good mix, quick to sprout and holds water well. I recommend soaking the soil before transferring to starting trays, takes a while for water to soak down when completely dry, but once it's wet, retains and soaks water well.
