It's good soil, but be prepared to deeply rehydrate it with a 1020 tray or a significant amount of time/water. It is nice and loose, with a few organic chunks. The chunks are easy to push down to the bottom, so they don't appear to impair seed germination. I recommend this soil, but it's always best-practice to amend seed starting soil with azomite and/or worm castings in general

Good mix, quick to sprout and holds water well. I recommend soaking the soil before transferring to starting trays, takes a while for water to soak down when completely dry, but once it's wet, retains and soaks water well.

Purchased this for starting my veggie seeds. It’s a great mix soil for quick germination. I was able to fill 42 cells with the one bag and have some left over to do more . Hold moisture well, and easily drains excess. Very good value for money. Will buy again .

Planted seeds a week ago. NO growth however it seems like the soil gets too wet and takes a while to dry out even though little water was used to start. Seems like good soil but unknown why it will not germinate seeds
