  • 5'9", 215# XL, Good Fit, easy in and out, Good Value
Color: Men's Shorty Size: X-Large
I am 5'9" 215 lbs. Athletic build with a gut. My size was an XL I was concerned primarily about two things: Fit, and ease of putting on and taking it off. The fit was appropriately snug when first tried it on but as always they loosen up, and even more so once they are wet. The real test for me was putting it on and taking it off on the boat. I opted for front zipper for this reason. I'm glad I did. This suit has an excellent zipper, made by YKK, and that is important. The front access made it easy for me, at 65, to put it on and take it off without a fuss. The shorty performed well, and I cannot yet attest to the durability. For the cost, the VALUE of this shorty earns it a clear five stars. If the durability is there, it's a six start suit. Living in south Florida and diving the Caribbean I do not use a wet suit much so for me, I'm ecstatic. ... show more

  • Great wetsuit for a great price
Color: Women's Shorty Size: Large
I really like the ease in which I can get into this suit and out by unzipping the front all the way down to the thigh. It is so much easier than others that zip from bellybutton up or in back. I also love that the neck doesn't choke me like some of the others I tried that have a velcro strap across the neck or that zip up the back and have a collar in the front. I used this suit in Baja Mexico in April when the eater is cool. It was great for snorkeling, kept me warm. It also rolled up small in my carry-on bag. ... show more

  • Size comparison Seaskin vs Henderson
Color: Men's Shorty Size: 4X-Large
I’m 6 ft 235 lbs chest 46, waist at bellybutton 46, jean size worn below waist 38. I purchased 3xl and 4xl in the Henderson line. 3xl and 4xl in the Bare line and 3xl and 4xl in the Seaskin. Firstly I am not money conscious so I didn’t consider price. Both Henderson and Bare had more stretch and were slightly softer. The 3x were both tight under the arms but i was able to zip up no problem. Not so with Seaskin, it felt much tighter. All the 4x were easy to zip up. The henderson still was cut slightly short under the armpits but very doable. The Bare was a little tight around the belly and was the most expensive. If it really were to fit the best I would probably would have bought it..The Bare was nice and seemed well made with more whistles and bells but I had a previous issue with a full wetsuit and Bares Customer Service policy was send it back and maybe we’ll replace it but most likely we’ll try to fix it first. I didn’t have time for that. The dive shop didn’t stand behind me so. The 4x Seaskin for the price is pretty decent. I wore it in the pool and found it to feel like all wetsuits felt 10 years ago. For the price you cant go wrong. It’s easy to see why it’s a top seller on Amazon. I do think they run a size small. It really surprised me. Listen to the wife and just give it a Seaskin a try. ... show more

  • Excellent
Color: Men's Shorty Size: Large
Fits perfectly to the size I ordered. I really like the entire front zipper feature. The zipper on my old shorty was in the back and was always hard to zip up

  • I use this to swim in "heated" pools
Color: Men's Shorty Size: X-Small
I enjoy being in the water, but I hate the idea of entering the water. Even in "heated" pools, I always dread getting into the water. I know I will be fine after a few minutes in the water, but I still always find myself spending a large amount of time fighting myself to get into the water. I tried every method - the slowly dipping into the pool a few inches at a time, to the just dive under the water, and I also looked online, but nothing works. I recently decided to give a wetsuit a chance. I thought it might be weird, but I'm out of options. The experience is amazing! The parts of my body that aren't covered still feel cold, but when I submerge myself in the water it felt like I had an armor against the cold. It restricts movement a little bit, but I would expect this with any type of clothing. The warmth provided outweighs any movement restrictions. I am now able to make the most of my swimming sessions because I can get straight into the pool instead of sometimes taking 20 minutes to get in or even talking myself out of it completely. Getting a proper fit is key. I read from a review that someone that was a little larger than my size had bought a medium and was thinking a small was more appropriate, so I went for one size smaller. I am 5'8 and 130 lbs, and I went with the X-Small. It works great! I am using the wetsuit now only to swim at a local gym. I will probably use it to swim in the outdoor apartment pool when it gets warmer outside and will take this with me on vacations. I enjoy snorkeling, and I have the same issue with the water there, and I think this wetsuit is going to help with that! (and will look less weird :)) Some additional notes: The wetsuit will also help you float. It helps when you're out of the water as well, like when I'm going to the shower from leaving the swimming pool. Lastly, putting on the suit is tricky but still easy. Taking it off when it's wet is another story, but I expected it to be this way. ... show more

  • It'll do for now
Color: Men's Shorty Size: Large
Just getting into rescue diving through work and needed a quick cheap suit for our quary dives. Good for water 60 to 80 degrees ..but I wouldn't go any outside of that with this suit.
