This totally did the trick of keeping our LO on a chilly lake day! PROs: -- FIT/TRUE-TO-SIZE - We purchased the the Size 6, which is suggested size of 47"-50" Height, 24" Chest, 22" Waist and 24"chest. Our LO is a little shorter (44" height) but close to all the other Size 6 suggested measurements. >> The first picture shows the fit of the wetsuit. It is snug enough to have kept her warm, but not too difficult to get her in it. -- WARMTH (in and out of water) We went out on the lake when the temp was low 70's, very windy and the water was chilly. Kids wanted to get in the water though, of course! Normally, you see her lips shivering but not yesterday in this wetsuit. She played comfortably in the water and never saw her shiver. She stayed in the wetsuit after getting out to preserve body heat until we got to our next dry destination when she could get out of her wet clothes. She never once complained of being cold as the boat was on the move! >> Second picture shows wetsuit use after getting out of the water in cooler temps while boat is moving. She has it comfortably layered over a long-sleeve bathing suit and under her lifejacket. -- COMFORT - LOs are quick to complain if anything is uncomfortable. No complaints. -- QUALITY - This looks to be of great quality. Our LO played hard in it and no distress shown yet. I will. update this review if any concerns with quality come up after repeated use. Otherwise, you can assume quality is sufficient. CONs: - I don't really see any yet to report on the actual product itself! -- PRICE - This does seem to be of a higher price point than the other similar products (about $10+ more on average). However, I cannot speak to the quality of the other products and if they match the quality of this one. SUMMARY: The other family we had with us have kids too and was asking about the wetsuit, complimented the look of it (cute) and was impressed how our LO was the smallest kid and never complained of being cold as all the others were cold. We definitely recommended this wetsuit for their kids... so yes, I would recommend this product! :)

I needed a wetsuit for my kid to go boogie boarding in some very cold water and this looked like (and was) a great option. Overall the construction of this wetsuit was very nice and well done. The blue is a really cool combination of hues, nothing too flashy. The zipper and collar are well constructed and don’t stick out abnormally. I went off the sizing chart, so for my 5’1” 11yo I got a size 14. It was slightly loose in the torso, but he’s also a very skinny kid. The length worked perfectly for him and the suit came to mid thigh. I think if I got the 12 it *might* have also fit, but it might have been a little tight in places, so this probably worked better. I got another brand of suit for my younger kid and after comparing the two, I think this one is better overall and will probably purchase this again in the future.
