Description

SB 105 is a multi-purpose one-component structural sealant/adhesive designed for difficult bonding and sealing applications. SB 105 is tough, elastic and waterproof. SB 105 often provides primer-less adhesion to steel, aluminum, ceramics, Styrofoam, coated metal, glass, wood, fiberglass, and many plastics (Acrylic, Polycarbonate, ABS, and PVC). SB 105 is also suited for many applications requiring adhesion to concrete and cementitious building materials. SB 105 has excellent weathering characteristics and is suitable for use in all climates.

    • After 2 tubes, still no idea if it works.
Bought a tube of this adhesive, punctured the tip, screwed on the included nozzle with open ends, put it in calk gun. Very hard to squeeze, ended up breaking the calk gun handle before getting any out of the nozzle tip. Noticed the back of tube collapsed under the pressure. Bought an expensive, stronger calk gun with better mechanical advantage. Bought another tube of this adhesive. Heated the adhesive in a very hot water bath to diminish viscosity and cut a large hole in the front of the tube to diminish resistance. Screwed on the provided open nozzle. When I attempted to expel the adhesive, the back inside of the tube collapsed again and the plunger of the calk gun merely pushed it's way through the adhesive with only a few "drops" being expelled through the nozzle. Then a hell of of cleanup to try to save my new calk gun from all the adhesive everywhere. Either I am doing something terribly wrong (I'm not), or 2 out of 2 tubes were defective! ... show more

    • This forms a sealing gasket like some of the much more expensive stuff
I used this product to seal acrylic windows to a fiberglass sailboat's cabin sides. I learned the hard way that the cabin side was curved, not flat. This product created an adhesive seal for those acrylic port lites on the cabin and was basically fully cured in 24hrs. I'll be stunned if they pop off or leak again, as they were. My only comment is that it is hard to get a clean finished edge. Unlike silicone sealants, where you run your finger along and get a very smooth finish, this was harder to work for that finished edge. I used paint thinner on blue towel and tried to get a good edge, but it looked a tad rough. Not shiny smooth. If that's my only problem, this product is a winner. ... show more

Used a tube of this to anchor foam insulation and aluminum cross members. Seems to have been very good adhesion. Time will tell Excellent shipping experience

Secure my rear spoiler to my car. Originally it was mechanically secured but it was ripped off by vandals making the internal threaded inserts unusable.
