  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Unleash the Beast! Seagate IronWolf Pro is the Ultimate NAS Hard Drive for Your Data
Style: HDD Pro Capacity: 16TB
As someone who works with large amounts of data on a daily basis, I know firsthand the importance of having a reliable storage solution. After doing extensive research and testing, I can confidently say that the Seagate IronWolf Pro 16TB NAS Internal Hard Drive is the best of the best. First and foremost, this hard drive is a beast when it comes to storage capacity. With a whopping 16TB of space, you can store everything from high-resolution photos and videos to complex databases and applications without ever worrying about running out of space. But it's not just about the storage capacity - the Seagate IronWolf Pro also delivers top-notch performance. The 7200 RPM spindle speed and 256MB cache ensure lightning-fast read and write speeds, making it ideal for data-intensive applications such as virtualization, high-end gaming, and 4K video editing. One of the things I appreciate most about this hard drive is its reliability. The IronWolf Health Management system constantly monitors the drive's health and can even alert you to potential issues before they become major problems. The drive is also rated for 24/7 operation and comes with a five-year warranty, giving me peace of mind knowing that my data is safe and secure. Another great feature is the IronWolf Pro's compatibility with a wide range of NAS systems. It works seamlessly with popular systems from Synology, QNAP, and other manufacturers, making it easy to integrate into your existing setup. Lastly, I have to mention the sleek and modern design of the IronWolf Pro. The all-black casing looks great in any setup, and the vibration dampening technology ensures that the drive runs quietly and smoothly, even during heavy use. Overall, if you're looking for a high-capacity, high-performance, and highly reliable hard drive for your NAS system, the Seagate IronWolf Pro 16TB NAS Internal Hard Drive is an absolute must-have. It's a true powerhouse that can handle all of your data storage needs with ease. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Hard drive
Style: HDD Capacity: 12TB
I bought this drive to replace the 2TB and 3TB HDD I had and this HDD is an absolute beast, itook everything and it has around 130MB/s transfer speed which is awesome, easy installation, I initialized it on Windows and started working perfectly. shipping was good and the box it comes in is huge so it suffered NO damage whatsoever in transit. really a great purchase, will be coming back for more since I want to set up a NAS. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Good value
Style: HDD Capacity: 4TB
This was a major memory upgrade for my NAS drive. Be very careful to ONLY buy a hard drive of the specific models listed for your NAS drive. Other models may not work due to memory configuration and other issues. Check online for your NAS model manual and only purchase one of the hard drives listed.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Drive For My NAS
Style: HDD(New) Capacity: 4TB
It had to happen sometime. One day I awoke to a beeping noise coming from my Synology NAS. One of the 4 hard drives was on the verge of failure. The RAID architecture was keeping things stable, for now, but the clock was ticking. The original drives were Seagate 4TB also, and they had run flawlessly for over a decade, so it was time. I bought two of these, to keep one in back stock, for when the next original 4TB drive would fail. Installation was a breeze, and the new drive was recognized correctly and the Synology app took care of bringing the new drive into the RAID structure. I have never gone wrong with Seagate, and this drive looks to be even better than its older brothers. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars No issues so far
Style: HDD Pro Capacity: 12TB
Bought two of these 12TB drives for my brand new Synology NAS and one month later everything's been great. Installed them in a RAID array and filled them up to 7TB so far with no problems. Definitely can be a little noisy when writing data but that's not surprising with HDDs. I'll update this review if I have any issues but Seagate has always been rock solid for me. Definitely recommended! ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Even under nearly 24x7 operation they just work
Style: HDD Capacity: 4TB
I have several of this model in a server. In most cases they would get to sleep a lot, but this server has several cameras streaming to it - and it seems like the hard drives never really get a chance to go to low power. They have been in operation non-stop since plugging them in (my server supports hot-swap, so the install could not be easier). There are drives with higher density, but these have proven to be robust in my applications. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Noisy but reliable
Style: HDD Capacity: 4TB
I had to replace one of the drives in my RAID1 NAS due to a hard drive that went bad. When searching I found this as a suitable replacement for it and immediately replaced it into my enclosure. Once replaced and after the RAID re-assembled itself I was able to get back to my work unimpeded. The only issue I've experienced with this is slow seek times when mounting the NAS in Windows and noise. Granted I don't expect hard drives to be silent, but with drive failures in the past, I've become wary about hearing much noise with hard drives and keeping my NAS powered off periodically to attempt keeping it stable and healthy. Great drive, especially if you're using them internally in a PC or in a NAS environment. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Still paying math games. 10GBs
Style: HDD Capacity: 12TB
Can't believe drive companies are STILL playing the math games. It formats out to 10GB not 12GB. (Can I pay in 'hard drive currency?' ie: 97 cents on the dollar) Just for that, the other 4 I need will be another company. Still too new (one still formatting in the NAS) to say how they preform/hold up. ... show more
