The only disappointment is you can't play games directly from the drive. You have to transfer them back to your console to play. I got this about 6 months ago. It was working great up until a week ago when it randomly became corrupted and wasn’t working on my laptop or console and even would make my laptop freeze up. This was literally the only bump in the road I’ve ever had with this device. In frustration, I left a 1-star review since I now had a product that didn’t work. However, I’ve been looking up some good housekeeping procedures and I now realize I was being stupid and simply unplugging the device from the console or laptop when I was done using it. This was incredibly dumb and is likely what caused it to become corrupt. Always remember with these external devices that you need to click “Safely Remove Hardware” on your computer, or turn off your console and let it shut off completely, before unplugging these devices.
