This 13lb fluke style anchor, paired with 5' of 5/16" chain, has no problems hold our 20' deck boat (approximately 3100lbs) in place on a soft/sandy bottom. I let the anchor line out at about a 4:1 ratio to the water depth. Perfect setup.

Worked great until it didn’t. Used it twice and the second time it got stuck in the sand and we had to cut it loose cause it couldn’t be maneuvered out.
