    • Held a 22' pontoon in fast current
I like it. We fish deep fast current at night and it held very well. I paired it with 100" of 3/8 anchor line. Got hung up in a tree around 30 feet deep took a whole to get it out and some of the plastic coating was roughed up and damaged but he thing held us steady below a dam in fast current.

    • Not all there!!!
The box was ripped open in a couple places enough for the clevis pin to go missing. The anchor it self is exactly as expected. From the looks of the box, it was treated like it belonged to someone else that they would never see.

    • Used with an 18' Dual pontoon boat in salt water
Very sturdy, but drags along the bottom of sandy floors in mild current on our boat. (5-8mph). However, it makes a great secondary, stabilizer anchor once you have a good Navy, or Fluke type anchor to hold you steady. Looks like it will do great on a rocky bottom, or a floor with a lot of debris and most likely won't get hung up at the bottom. Not recommended as a primary anchor for Atlantic coastal waterways using an 18' or larger Pontoon, otherwise a good anchor to keep on the boat for emergencies. ... show more

    • Does not actually come with the hardware.
The anchor itself is fine. Does the job for small lightweight items. In our case, we wanted it for our floating foam raft(Aquapad) However, it looks like it comes with the hardware but it really doesn’t. I had to return one because of this, but the second one also came without the hardware. Rather than trekking back to the UPS Store (we live more rurally), I just chose to keep it as is and be annoyed. ... show more

    • They stand behind their product.

Avoid. I had this anchor for less than two months before the rope eye detached from the anchor. Now the anchor is at the bottom the the lake. This is junk. Edit: I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a new anchor. I applause the customer service.

    • The plastic cover cracked within a week of 1st use.
It's an anchor it works as such just fine. It would be nice to have an intact cover on it like I paid for.

    • Does the job.
Good replacement. Gave old anchor to friend with party boat. Use this for 14 foot fishing boat.
