I absolutely love these bowls. I'm a flight attendant and I bring my own meals with me. This thing works in the convection oven. It's big and light and I use it for big salads and hot meals. I highly recommend

I had bought the 3 piece set and the alpha-light utensils for a recent camping trip and was pretty happy with them. The extra space between the Xbowl and Xplate made me wonder if there was an in-between option, and for anyone else who might wonder about it the XLbowl fit in perfectly.

I love these summit to sea bowls, cups, plates, and this was my fourth from this series. But for whatever reason, the top rung really does not want to stay compressed. It's constantly popping back upward, which means that when you fully collapse the plate, the outer edge is pops up and out and therefore the thing really isn't flat. This didn't happen with the other 3 Sea to Summit products I own, and it's kind of annoying and defeats the purpose of them all nesting within one another. But really not all that big a deal, and it's still a solid plate that functions as a decent bowl for 2 people's worth of food. ... show more

First I bought the regular sized Sea to Summit X Bowl, while a great bowl, it just lacked the capacity for me. It wouldn't hold a full can of Chunky soup. Then I saw this bad boy and had to have it. This holds 35oz. (1000 ml), it has small markings on the inside like a measuring cup. This bowl holds the soup with no problems, and allows me to crumble a handful of crackers into it also. When I'm done, I just wipe it with a paper towel, fold it down, and pack it in my bag to wash at home. Convenient and durable. It seems really well made, just like its smaller brother. If I had a need for a folding cup or plate, I would order those from Sea to Summit also. Everything I have bought from them so far has been a winner.
