Description

The Sea to Summit Comfort Deluxe Self-Inflating Foam Camping Mattress is a 4-season luxury foam sleeping pad, for camping, home and travel. At 4 inches thick, with vertical sidewalls for maximum sleeping surface, it brings the comfort of home to basecamp. The multi-function reversible valve allows for fast and easy inflation, one-way deflation for quick packup, and fine-tuning of air pressure for a good night’s sleep. Sea to Summit’s innovative Delta Core technology removes foam weight and bulk, while maintaining durability and warmth. With an R-Value of 6.5, it insulates from the cold in all seasons, even winter (R-Value measures the material’s ability to insulate; the higher the R-value, the warmer the sleeping pad). Soft 30D stretch knit top fabric is soft and cozy; a durable 75D polyester with laminated TPU is used on the base. The Sea to Summit Comfort Deluxe Self-Inflating Foam Camping Mattress is available in two sizes: Regular measures 72 x 25 x 4 inches, packs to 7 x 26.5 inches, weighs 4.4 pounds; Large measures 79 x 29 x 4 inches, packs to 7 x 31 inches, weighs 5.8 pounds. • Worth The Money!!
My back is not the best so I went on a search for a product that would get me off the ground, insulate me from the cold a bit and most importantly help me get a good nights sleep. I paid roughly 200.00 for this and it is definitely steep on the price. With that said that's the only thing I could say that might be a negative. The foam inside, with a few breaths of air, really help keep me supported. I don't sink in and touch the ground at all and I am 6'3 240lbs. I haven't noticed any air leakage but I will say this. If your camping in the cold I would advise to blow it up a wee bit firmer than your used to, as the air cools inside the pad it will become softer and settle in. The stitching is great and Seat to Summit even warrants against such defects. All in all an excellent piece of Motorcycle camping gear... Oh one last thing. You can roll it up once, lock the air valve, unroll fold in half and start rolling again to really minimize the foot print. It takes a bit longer to fill with air afterwards but its excellent for pacing on the bike. ... show more

  • As comfortable as any portable mattress could be.
This mattress inflates easily and requires only a few breaths to top off. It does require a bit of effort and time to deflate, and getting it back into the sack can become a bit physical. I have two of Sea to Summit's self-inflating mattresses. Smaller one is virtually impossible to get back into its original packing sack (two people, 20+ minutes, colorful language, etc...) In my opinion, they need to come in compression sacks that can be cinched down after the mattress is repacked. All that having been said- they are GREAT to sleep on. As comfortable in a tent as the bed at home. I'll probably not use anything else. ... show more

  • Great for side sleepers, you won't touch the bottom.
If you have the means this mattress is so worth it, almost better then my bed. You can roll over and never hit the bottom of the mattress. I'm 180 and the wide version is absolutely awesome. It's next level car camping. This solves the what to sleep on question, can even double as a guest bed for your home. Guests will thank you after a night on this mattress. On top of a cot or just on the ground this won't disappoint. Prepare to get your money's worth and wake up with a smile. ... show more

  • Comfortable
Its well made and comfortable but it really doesn't self inflate and you will almost pass out blowing air into it.

  • The Best Pad if You Suffer From Back Pain.
I'm really happy I found this pad. I'm planning to do a long distance bicycle trek with my son next summer and we plan to camp a lot. I'm older now and a regular pad just don't work because I wake up many times with hip and back pain. This pad is extremely comfortable, almost as good as my bed at home, and it's still reasonably light weight. I'm sure it would also be great for snow camping too. I'm sure I'll have a great trip next summer. Thanks ... show more

  • Comfort
Best sleeping pad ever for this 200lb person. My hips never grinded into the ground - side sleeper. The self-inflating is a good start, but I needed to add more air - which was real easy to do.

  • I wanted to love it
Style: Regular (72 x 25 x 4 inches) - 2021
I'm sorry that I had to give this amazing product only 3 stars. I purchased this mat at Ganders. I had seen it months ago and laid on it and it was like oh my gosh this thing is so comfortable. Gander put them on sale and I pulled the trigger. It's doubtful you will find a more comfortable mat. I bought it for camping in my van. I have a cot in my van and my intended use was to use on top of the cot. Currently I use a 3" memory foam mat. The memory foam is super comfortable but bulky to store and pack. I thought this Sea to Summit would solve the problem of the bulkiness. The problem with this mat is that it's time consuming to deflate and you can forget rolling this mat back up and re-packing in it's stuff sack. Not gonna happen. I don't know why every manufacturer makes storage sacks way too small to pack original item back in. You can't roll it tight enough to fit back in. Thus, it's no different from my memory foam. It now becomes bulky and completely unprotected. I gain nothing. If they had made the storage sack half again the size it is, no problem. I'll be returning mine and sad about it. Deflating it takes time as well. If they had added an additional valve I think it would help tremendously in deflating and the time it takes. I wrote this review based on the way I wanted to use this product. It may serve your purpose well just the way it is. Like I said, you will be hard pressed to find a more comfortable mat. For me, they need to go back to the drawing board. ... show more

  • Don’t underestimate a good nights sleep
Style: Regular (72 x 25 x 4 inches) - 2021
Be warned. It’s not small. It’s not one of those sleeping pads that fits into a sandwich bag. It’s about the size of a skateboard. It’s light. But if you are a side-sleeper, or move a lot, the cushioning is absolutely incredible. I’d suggest going to the sea to summit site. You’ll see why there’s a difference between a $30 pad and a $200 one. ... show more
