This is the warmest bag I’ve yet used and possibly the most comfortable as well. I have the Reactor bag liner as well, but considering how warm the bag felt in my testing, I may not even have to use it until it’s below 0 out which I probably won’t be camping in anyway. I wasn’t quite prepared for how bulky the bag is, it’s absolutely massive although it is light for the size and square-ish storage case it comes with is awesome and much appreciated. I’ve used a Kelty CosmicDown bag before, which is absolutely tiny compared to this one, however the StS bag is warmer despite being the same rating. It’s a great bag for car camping but entirely too large for backpacking, however I’m ok with the size trade-off for the warmth and comfort provided. I did notice a few loose threads which looked a bit unseemly and was unexpected from SeaToSummit, but I was able to trim them off with no unraveling of the fabric, so ultimately it wasn’t too big of a deal. The bulk, which I’ve mentioned several times now, is my only complaint with this sleeping bag and otherwise I think it’s excellent for very cold weather. ... show more

This bag is absolutely luxurious. High quality materials used throughout. Thoughtful design. I love how roomy and spacious it is, and being able to zip open the footbox while keeping the hood zipped up is a game changer. Sea Ro Summit makes top notch kit, this is no exception.
