This is one of those pieces of kit (along with my Toaks 750) that just makes me happy. The long handle is great for getting down in a mountain house bag, but its also great for flipping a steak on my little backpack grill grate. Also, compared to other sporks ive used, this one has some of the better tines. Compared to the folding Toaks spork, this one can dig into a piece of meat (steak) much better. The mini caribiner fell apart but i never used it so im not docking a point. I used to use the light my fire plastic sporks, but after breaking 3 i decided this was the better route. Would buy again if i lost it. You wont be disappointed.

Ahhh, yes! Just what I have been looking for! At approximately 9 inches in length, this spork is good company with Optimus' Long Titanium Spoon, both being about as long. The tines on this spork are about a half inch in length, and only the pointed tines are at the ends. An inspection of the handle shows print designating "7075 T6 alloyed hard anodized" and "Sea To Summit". 7075 is an aluminium alloy. more information at this webpage - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7075_aluminium_alloy. T6 is a temper designation. More info at - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aluminium_alloy. Anodizing is used to coat the metal when the alloy is not or has less corrosion resistance. It, seems to be a good product, well worth it for your camping, or even home needs. My only gripe is that I wish this product was made with titanium, but maybe there are production difficulties associated with that.

Great spoon and the only utensil I carry backpacking. Spoon is long and I find it kind of hard to pack into a good spot in backpack, worried the handle will bend if not stored right and is subjected to pressure. I typically hook to outside of backpack and let it hang freely, it causes me to need to wash it before use but hasn't been a problem yet.

Won't break, good size and shape, long enough to dig around in those packets of super processed, freeze dried camper food. Not cheap by any stretch of the imagination but won't break the bank and I'd say it's totally worth it. I recently repurchased one and gave it as a gift.

I haven't used the spork yet, but my 107 mile hike on the AT is next month. However, messing around with it here at the house, it will be long enough to reach the bottom of my might mo without getting my hand dirty and feels sturdy. It comes with a small carabiner, but I don't think I'll be using it.

I mean it's a spoon what what are you really saying it's perfect for what I need you can reach all the way into a mountain house bag without getting your hands all dirty therefore I would assume that you could do the same with an MRE or lRP spoons not too big decent mouthful

I've never been disappointed with anything from Sea to Summit and this spork is no exception. No great for stabbing food, but you can tell that from the picture. It's terrific for getting to the bottom of freeze dried food bags without getting you hand covered in whatever you are eating.
