This industrial looking light fixture was easy to install and looks nice on our screened in porch. I’m not sure if the cross wires will actually protect the bulb from getting broken or are only for decoration, but they look nice. The bronze finish is true to the picture. We were missing one of the screws that holds the glass ball and place around the bulb. It was easy enough to find one we had on hand, but it’s not the same as having the one made for the fixture. I love the way this looks installed over our front door, but four stars since the other review calling it a bug catcher is accurate. We have had this installed for about a month and the glass enclosure around the bulb is already filling up with bugs. It will be easy enough to empty, but still a slight annoyance. ... show more

Stylish fixture. Cannot use the globe supplied because there is no gasket to keep bugs out of the light. I installed an LED (soft white). Also, there was no wire bulb protection like the photo shows. Without the globe, the bulb has no protection but at least it is not a dead bug collector.

I like the overall look of this lamp. I had my electrician install it. The LED bulb is quite intense (bright, cool daylight), so I will change that.

I searched high and low for a decently priced and good quality black ceiling light. This light is very nicely made, exactly the mix of modern/vintage I was looking for. Even though it is made for outdoor use we actually put it in our bathroom because it will withstand the moisture in there.
